Read this FIRST- On this site we
prefer to use the actual Name of our loving Heavenly Father as it was written
in the Word, and thus you will note that we will use the Four Letter
“Memorial Name” of - YHVH,
which is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH. In addition we will also
use our Heavenly Father’s attribute/title, which is Elohim rather
than “God,” which sadly is the name of a pagan god. In addition we
also love to use the actual and real Name of our beloved Messiah which
is
- Yahushua or Yahshua in short, for
this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him at birth in
“Yahushua said to him

“‘And you shall love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with
all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your ability (meaning all your possessions).
Over the years the question has been raised regarding the question of “tithing,” and it is for this reason that I present my thoughts on this subject as well as the Word based on the matter. I pray beloved that it will provide the Scriptural answers you are seeking, for sadly these days there are far too many charlatans out there, misusing the Word of Elohim (God) in order to extract massive amounts of funds from their congregations and audiences at so-called outreach sessions!
But, let us first turn to the Word of YaHVaH Elohim (the LORD God) in the Tanach, the Old Covenant and see what it has to teach us.
“A tithe of everything from the land,
whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to YHVH; it is
sanctified (holy) to YHVH.” Vayikra - Leviticus 27:30.
“Each of you must bring a gift in
proportion to the way YHVH your Elohim has blessed you.” Davarim -
Deuteronomy 16:17.
“On the *first
day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may
prosper, that there be no collections when I come” 1 Corinthians 16:2.
*“On the first Day” … This equates to
today’s Sunday, however this has nothing to do with the Sabbath or
changing the day from Saturday, being the Scriptural Seventh Day Sabbath to the
pagan day of the sun god! The only reason this was stated is that money was and
still is not handled by

Some are only able to give a little and this
can be due to lack of resources, yet they might give more of their time and
effort in the service of our Messiah
and Saviour, be it in hospitality and visiting the sick, etc.
Beloved,
Those who hold onto a dogmatic and a
legalistic law of “tithing”
have lost the vision of what Elohim really expects from us, for He desires that
giving should be from our heart, our soul, and our ability unto Him in the
wonderful Name of Yahushua The Messiah. Therefore, “tithing,” is based on the Scriptures as the
Law of love and giving!
Let us look on a few thoughts about tithing - in very simple terms I will provide three headings with scriptures that cover “how to give,” and one on “how not to give.”
1. Tithe according to your capability.
“Then the disciples, each according to
his ability, determined to send relief to the brethren dwelling in
“So let each one give as he purposes in
his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for Elohim loves a cheerful
giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7.
“On the *first
day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he
may prosper, that there be no collections when I come” 1 Corinthians 16:2.
“But a certain man named
Thus, beloved whenever we “tithe and give” unto our
Heavenly Father and do so as we are able, and both cheerfully and regularly,
but certainly never grudgingly. Always give with love - “for Elohim loves a cheerful giver.”
You may wish to give one gift, be it to your
place of meeting, or split it and provide for the needs of various works in
Him. Always pray and seek the guidance of the
“Teach me Your way, O YHVH. I will walk in Your truth.
UNITE MY HEART TO FEAR YOUR NAME!”
May YHVH Elohim bless and keep you in the palm of
His hand always, in Messiah Yahushua’s loving Name!
