--Sharing our Saviour Yahushua the Messiah to the World!--

-Please Read this FIRST- On this site we prefer to use the actual Name of our loving Heavenly Father as it was written in the Word, and thus you will note that we will use the Four Letter “Memorial Name” of   - YHVH, which is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH. In addition we will also use our Heavenly Father’s attribute/title, which is Elohim rather than “God,” which sadly is the name of a pagan god. In addition we also love to use the actual and real Name of our beloved Messiah which is  - Yahushua or Yahshua in short, for this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him at birth in Lukas - Luke 1:31. This was the only Name ever used when He was on the earth by His family, disciples and His followers OVER THE centuries, even until today! However, it was changed to a foreign name by the founder of the new “pagan church of Rome.” Occasionally, we may also use other Hebrew or Greek names as well as different words in our studies for certain common words used are from pagan backgrounds and thus are not suitable. All names will be translated when they are FIRST used in a study or at various times as needed for clarity. There is a full explanation of YHVH’s blessed “Memorial Name” as well as the wonderful blessed Name of our Messiah and Saviour, thus please read …The Memorial Name.”

Introduction:

This is one of my older studies that I came across today and I was led to completely rewrite it being guided somewhat in a new direction to what the original one had taken. Although, some parts of the original still survive and a powerful lesson is found within it, for it is all about the word FAITH, yet sadly there are so many people who claim to have faith that tend to be worriers, have various fears and doubts, and that is precisely what this study is all about for it is so important that we overcome “worry” – “fear” and “doubt!”

“Father Elohim, I come before Your ever loving throne of mercy, in the Name of Yahushua the Messiah and ask You father, that You will touch all those who are reading this study with Your love and guidance and Father please cover them with the spirit of discernment and remove from them any spirit of a negative feeling within them that can be harmful to their lives in You and Messiah Yahushua! I ask it Father in Yahushua’s Name! And thank you YaHVaH for sending us Your only begotten Son who was without sin and gave His life for us, He who was the “Passover Lamb Sacrificed for us!” HalleluYAH.

Robert Louis Stevenson once said “Anyone can carry his burden, however hard, until nightfall; anyone can live sweetly, lovingly patiently till the sun goes down.” Amazingly, this harmonises beautifully with the words our blessed Saviour Yahushua said;

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Mattityahu - Matthew 6:34.

Beloved, one of the problems of mankind is worry and frustration that occurs when we try to carry yesterday’s regrets and tomorrow’s fears with today’s load. It is simply more than we can bear. Yahushua was the perfect example of one who is devoted His all to the task before Him, doing one thing at the time. He carried His load, however hard every day, but He would put it down and fall soundly asleep even in the middle of a storm at sea. He lived sweetly and patiently each day. Yahushua our beloved Messiah knew the secrets for success and if we only follow His example we will cut our lives into daylight compartments, and we will no longer look into the future with fear and wonder how we will ever get through it? Instead, we will have learned that if we would be going on a 40 kilometres marathon that this race is made of one-step at a time and with the pre-prepared exercises and endurance that you will get there! For it is obvious you would not be at the starting line if you did not have the faith that you could reach the “Finnish” line!

Faith:

Beloved, the word “Faith” is just such a wonderful word in the Hebrew, for it is “Emun” or “Pestis” in the Greek. “Emun” means, “steadfastness” - “stability” and “truth.” Whilst the Greek “Pestis” means, “fidelity - “loyalty” - “constant” - “firm” and “unwavering.” Thus as we can see “faith” is a very powerful trait in our lives IF we put it into full practice. But do we? The sad truth is beloved many have faith but it seems that it comes in doses, and at times there are certain other traits that seem to come to the fore, and that is just what this study is all about! I pray that through the shed Blood of the Lamb of Elohim you will be healed, should you feel that you need to be healed, and I ask this in Messiah blessed Name!

The three Negative Tendencies:

Did you know that there are reasons why we do not see more evidence of faith either in those in many of the faithful? Sadly Yahushua the Messiah clearly identified four of our tendencies that undermine our faith in YaHVaH Elohim in statements where He reproached certain ones with the following “O you of little faith.” And the tendencies are as follows:

1… WORRY:

Yahushua said YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, would take care of all our needs, and He cautioned us:

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if Elohim so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the Kingdom of Elohim and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Mattityahu - Matthew 6:25-33.

Thus what we have read above is very clear, our beloved Saviour has given us an assurance that we need not worry for worry can lead us into something that is far more dangerous that what we could even comprehend. But, beloved I will expand on this later after I have covered the other two words that Yahushua warned us about!

2… FEAR:

Our blessed Saviour was going through an extremely hectic time as He had just healed Shime’on’s – Peter’s mother in-law, cast out demon’s and a follower who desired to follow the Messiah, yet he would not for he said, “Master, let me first go and bury my father.”

For interest: Most do not understand the Hebraic customs and this tend to have a misunderstanding of the situation here, and thus our Saviour was certainly not heartless when He said “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” Read Mattityahu - Matthew 8:19-22. The facts are as follows, his father was nowhere near death at the time, but it is the eldest son’s custom to remain with the father until he dies and bury him! And that could have been at least 30 years later!

But now Yahushua was needed on the other side of the Sea of Galilee in Hebrew “Kinneret” and He and his Apostles boarded a boat for the long crossing. Whilst on this boat with Yahushua having fallen asleep, suddenly a fierce storm had come up and in the middle of this storm the disciples woke Yahushua and pleaded with Him that He would save them from drowning. But He answered,

“And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, Master, save us! We are perishing!’ But He said to them, ‘Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?’ Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marvelled, saying, ‘Who can this be that even the winds and the sea obey Him?’” Mattityahu - Matthew 8:24-27.

The truth is that fear is holding countless lives back from a fruitful life, for if they only take a step of faith and go forth and do that which is good, all things will be well! Obviously, I am speaking of those things that are right in life and those things as we are guided according to the Word of YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name!

We now come to the third of the warnings that our beloved Saviour gave us, and we should heed it, for how many of us do doubt ourselves at times? I do pray beloved, that having read this short, but very important study will have assisted you and have set you free in Him, for Yahushua came to set us all FREE!

3… DOUBT:

This next story is part a short time later when we find Yahushua once again in a boat with the Apostles sailing across the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret) as we will remember Yahushua stepped out of the boat and walking on the surface of the Sea of Galilee and Yahushua invited Shime’on – Peter to join Him, and yes, he stepped out and did begin walking on the water. But let us read the whole story!

“But the boat was in the middle of the sea; being tossed by the waves, for the wind was against it. Now in the fourth watch of the night Yahushua went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, ‘It is a spirit!’ And they cried out for fear.

But immediately Yahushua spoke to them, saying, ‘Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.’

And Shime’on - Peter answered Him and said, ‘Master, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.’ So He said, ‘Come.’ And when Shime’on - Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Yahushua. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, Master, save me!’ And immediately Yahushua stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, ‘O you of little faith, why did you doubt?’ And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, ‘Truly You are the Son of Elohim.’” Mattityahu - Matthew 14:24-33.

One further issue:

Yahushua did also warn His Apostles;

“Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.” Mattityahu - Matthew 16:6.

Why did Yahushua make this statement” He was cautioning them against the erroneous teachings of these two groups of priest;

“Then they understood that He was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Mattityahu - Matthew 16:12.

At first the disciples initially thought that Yahushua was talking about the physical leavening of bread because they did not bring any bread with them. Yahushua then responded with;

O you of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves because you have brought no bread?” Mattityahu - Matthew 16:8.

He then said that they wouldn’t have missed His point if they’d kept in mind that He could miraculously provide physical bread if there was a need, having done so to feed thousands on two occasions!

“Do you still not understand? Don’t you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? How is it you don't understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Mattityahu - Matthew 16:9-11.

Summing Up:

Sadly too many believers hold onto the past and past disappointments. This, beloved is the self, and yes, I mean the I, me and myself,” of those who frequently look back and sadly this will frequently lead to depression.

And I have really bad news if this is the case for you, for depression automatically tends to open the door to the ultimate enemy HaSatan - and yes to sin! Beloved, having been in ministry for over thirty-six years I have seen far too many “christians” and even good and faithful in Messiah who have held onto the past in various degrees, be it in self or be it related to another matter and that held them back spiritually or in the case of “christians” doctrinally for their eyes simply will not open, as they remain blinded, just as Israel “is blinded in part!”

Sadly they are all being held back due to three horrible words being the three traits of “worry, fear and doubt!” But please, I ask you this, that you remember this, these three traits all lead us back to Satan for he is the author of fear!

Beloved, read the blessed Scriptures and the many great Faith events, in the Tanach, the Old Covenant you will find the amazing stories of faith of Noah who continued to build that huge boat, regardless the obstacles and ridicule, Avraham who would go to a “land that Elohim would show him” yet he had no idea where, later the mighty act of faith of offering his only son Yitzchak – Isaac as a sacrifice, David and Goliath, etc Moshe and his countless acts of faith, there are so many other stories of great faith, including those amazing ones in the book of Daniel, in the oven of fire and the lions den, etc!

Then there are those many blessed acts of faith found in the Brit Chadashah, the New Covenant, such as the woman who knew that if she could only touch the corner of Yahushua prayer shawl that she would be healed, and when she did, she was!

“Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of His cloak. She said to herself, ‘If I only touch his prayer shawl, I will be healed.’ Yahushua turned and saw her. ‘Take heart, daughter,’ he said, ‘your faith has healed you.’ And the woman was healed from that moment.” Mattityahu - Matthew 9:20-22.

We conclude with Hebrews chapter 11 = the Faith chapter:

1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.

3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at Elohim’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

4 By faith Abel offered Elohim a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when Elohim spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.

5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because Elohim had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased Elohim. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please Elohim, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in a blessed fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is Elohim.

11 By faith Abraham, even though he was past age and Sarah herself was barren was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise. 12 And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.

13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country a heavenly one. Therefore Elohim is not ashamed to be called their Elohim, for He has prepared a city for them.

17 By faith Abraham, when Elohim tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had received the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son,

18 even though Elohim had said to him, ‘It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.’ 19 Abraham reasoned that Elohim could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death.

20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.

21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.

22 By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions about his bones.

23 By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of Elohim rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. 26 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Messiah as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the Pharaoh’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days.

31 By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.

32 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. 35 Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. 37 They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated 38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground.

39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. 40 Elohim had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.” Hebrews 11:1-40.

In Conclusion:

Beloved, we have learned much from this study and also that we can only live one day at a time, for tomorrow will take care of itself! But for those who feel that they are struggling, I would like to add just a little more in regard to the message in general!

We need to remember that the vast majority of worries concern the future and it does us well to remember that the vast majority of these simply do not materialise! Thus, have faith in the Almighty for He never allows us to be tempted above that we are able to bear, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape in order that we will be able to bear it! Shaul – Paul said this;

“… but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of Elohim in Messiah Yahushua.” Philippians 3:13-14.

Thus are you struggling under life’s pressures? Why not pray to the Father “YaHVaH Elohim” in the Name of our loving Saviour Yahushua THE Messiah and He will care for you as He knows all your circumstances. He knows your very thoughts and He wishes to meet your needs. There is no doubt, but Yahushua will give you His PEACE, TRUTH, LOVE and LIFE!

Look unto Yahushua, He has the Answer!

“Teach me Your way, O YHVH. I will walk in Your truth.
UNITE MY HEART TO FEAR YOUR NAME!”

Tehillim – Psalms 86:11

May YHVH Elohim bless and keep you in the palm of His hand always, in Messiah Yahushua’s loving Name!

Yahushua said; “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: They will all be taught by Elohim. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me. No one has seen the Father except the One who is from Elohim; only He has seen the Father. I tell you the truth he who believes has everlasting life.” Yochanan (John) 6:43-48.
