-Please Read this FIRST- On this site we prefer to use the actual Name of our loving Heavenly Father as it was written in the Word, and thus you will note that we will use the Four Letter “Memorial Name” of   - YHVH, which is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH. In addition we will also use our Heavenly Father’s attribute/title, which is Elohim rather than “God,” which sadly is the name of a pagan god. In addition we also love to use the actual and real Name of our beloved Messiah which is  - Yahushua for this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him at birth in Lukas - Luke 1:31. This was the only Name ever used when He was on the earth by His family, disciples and His followers OVER THE centuries, even until today! However, it was changed to a foreign name by the founder of the new “pagan church of Rome.” Occasionally, we may also use other Hebrew or Greek names as well as different words in our studies for certain common words used are from pagan backgrounds and thus are not suitable. All names will be translated when they are FIRST used in a study or at various times as needed for clarity. There is a full explanation of YHVH’s blessed “Memorial Name” as well as the wonderful blessed Name of our Messiah and Saviour, thus please read … The Memorial Name.”

Page Two

Page Two will commence with the interiors of the Mishchan and its vessels, including the laver located just outside the tent! We then will look at each of the three items in the Sanctified (holy) Place and then we will enter the Sanctified of Holies and look at the Ark of the Covenant and how it was made, as well a closer look at the Atonement Cover, its contents, being the two tablets of the ten commandments, and then there were the two items located beside the Ark, being the pot of manna and Aaron’s “budding rod.” But, this page will cover all this and so much more, for what we will discover is a host of wonderful typology and a picture of our beloved Saviour Yahushua The Messiah!

Continued from Page One:

5. The Vessels of the Tabernacle

Above we see a layout of the Mishchan and the HaKodesh HaKodeshim interior as well as the laver just outside

Below we see an overhead view of the “HaKodesh - Holy Place” – the forward section of the Mishchan

The “HaKodesh - Holy Place contains the “Incense Altar, Menorah (Lamp stand) with the Lamp stand steps, a vessel and tools to light it

And the Showbread Table on the North side

The Laver:

 We will commence just outside the entrance of the “Sanctified (holy) Place” being the location of the bronze laver Shemos – Exodus 30:18-21 states;

“Make a bronze laver (Heb: Ki’or), with a bronze stand, for washing. Place it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it. Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with water from it. Whenever they enter the Tent of Appointments, they shall wash with water so that they will not die. Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting an offering made to YHVH by fire, they shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come.”

As the priests had to stand when washing their hand and feet, the laver was placed on a base lifting it up to a higher level. The size of the laver was determined by the fact that it had to contain sufficient water for ablution for several priests, being Aaron and his sons. The Laver together with its base was shaped slightly similar to a Jewish/Russian style Samovar, which in the more modern days was a coal/wood water heater, with water coming out of spouts. It is said that the women donated toward the making of the laver and the stand.

The Laver was a most significant feature of the vessels of the Tabernacle, for it was much like a pivot in the activities for the priests as they went about their Spiritual duties. The hands that performed the service unto YaHVaH were cleansed to ensure that all that was done was acceptable unto the Almighty as he had commanded. The fact that typified the priest’s walk before Elohim in His sanctuary, were cleansed of the pollutions from the earth. The cleansing was a regular experience for each priest that would happen on a number of times each day, as offerings followed offerings resulting from the many Israelites who needed to present their sacrifices at the Tabernacle door for the priest would have to wash before every sacrifice at the main sacrificial altar in the outer forecourt!

Washing of the hands and feet was very important in the Hebrew Spiritual life! And as we know this continued up to the time of Yahushua The Messiah, when at the Passover, it was He who washed the feet of His apostles as a sign of His humility. And as we think of this, although we may think of this Tabernacle as being so grand, with all that Gold and silver, etc, but, the reason for all that was more prophetic and it was all there to be typologies for Israel’s as well as for and our sake, that for YaHVaH Elohim it may have been just a “Tent” or in Hebrew, an “Ochel” covered with three woven materials and the last covering on the top being animal skins, a humble covering indeed! YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, desired to live amongst His people in a humble structure rather than in a grand manmade building, for He never desired a Temple being built, for that was the idea of man, yet He allowed it! When the Temple was completed He dwelt there for their sake!

Believers in Messiah Yahushua continued the washing of the hands before eating, and the true faithful continue to do so to this very day for we enter a blessed place when we sit down at the table for a meal. You may ask, but why? Although there are no sacrifices any longer for our loving Saviour was our Sacrifice once and forever, but our table is like sitting at an altar and that is why we pray and praise our Father for the food and we thank Him in the blessed Name of Yahushua The Messiah! And the table is considered as an altar unto the Father, for it is He who has provided every morsel of food in existence, and thus we thank Him for it! But sadly, far too many families have lost control of their loved ones these days and what is so sad that is even the case amongst so many “christian’s” and that is so tragic. Therefore beloved, those who follow ‘Jesus’ must return unto the one and only TRUE saviour and Messiah, Yahushua “for there is no salvation in any other Name.” We the faithful in Him must set an example to all those around and about and continue within the teachings that our beloved Saviour and His Apostle taught during all their lives!

1 … The Menorah - The Lamp stand:

Having washed their hands and feet at the laver close to the main entrance of the Sanctified (holy) Place, the priests would be permitted to enter the front section of the Mishchan, the Sanctified (holy) Place. Inside there were in total three vessels, these being the seven branchedMenorah,” the “Table of Showbread” and the “Golden Altar of Incense.”

But now let us enter and as one stepped inside the “HaKodesh the Sanctified Place” and even though there were no windows to let any light in whatsoever, but can you imagine the absolute grandeur as you were met by a semi darkness, however on both sides of you there were those massive shimmering 15ft high walls of pure gold that reflected the light from that huge great “Lamp stand,” the “Menorah” that was located along the South wall.

The ceiling was either close to a white or a very pale, pale blue material, and this also aided in reflecting the lights of the Menorah, which was the only light inside the Mishchan. The image below is a very good reflection of how it could possibly looked like, except that the floor would been completely covered with natural dirt, for the whole structure stood in the wilderness and there was no floor built in! As I explained in Study One this reminded the priests of man’s humility as we stood before the greatness of the Almighty Creator of heaven and the earth and we must never forget to humble ourselves before our King of kings, who is, lets face it, also the Creator of all things!

The Menorah, the seven branched Candelabra is one of the best known Hebraic/Jewish symbols, for obviously it has been around since Israel was at Sinai in the Wilderness, through to the Days of king Saul, and David who was the king of Israel living in Jerusalem and it remained long thereafter until the second temple!

But let us see what YaHVaH said about the making of this amazing Lamp stand in Shemos – Exodus 25: 31-36;

“Make a lamp stand of pure gold and hammer it out, base and shaft; its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms shall be of one piece with it. Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lamp stand, three on one side and three on the other. Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lamp stand. And on the lamp stand there are to be four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms. One bud shall be under the first pair of branches extending from the lamp stand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair, six branches in all. The buds and branches shall all be of one piece with the lamp stand, hammered out of pure gold.”

The Candelabra - Menorah was made from solid gold and of hand beaten work, meaning that it was hammered out of one piece of pure gold. Only the receptacles for the oil, or the lamps, were made separately. The height of the Menorah was 18 Spans; its width was 12 spans. The Menorah stood 2½ cubits from the South wall. Six of the laps were turned toward the central lamp (the main shaft), whilst the middle lamp was turned forward towards the North where the Showbread table was.

The “Menorah,” also called the “Golden Lamp stand” or the “Candlestick,” and this stood at the left side (south) of the Sanctified Place. It was hammered out of one piece of pure gold. Like for the laver, there were no specific instructions about the size of the Menorah, but the fact that it was fashioned out of one piece of pure gold would have limited its size.

The Menorah had a central branch from which three branches extended from each side, forming a total of seven branches. Seven lamps holding olive oil and wicks sat on top of the branches. Each branch looked like that of an almond tree, containing buds, blossoms and flowers. The priests were instructed to keep the lamps burning continuously.

“YHVH said to Moshe, ‘Command the Israelites to bring you clear (pure) oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually. Outside the curtain of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron is to tend the lamps before YHVH from evening till morning, continually.’” Vayikra - Leviticus 24:1-3.

As the Menorah was the only source of light in the Sanctified Place, the priests would have found it very difficult to get around in total darkness and thus the light shone upon the Table of Showbread and the Altar of Incense, allowing the priests to meet with YaHVaH Elohim and intercede on behalf of His people.

Just as the Menorah was placed in Mishchan so that the priests could approach the Almighty, Yahushua our Messiah, who is the … “true light that gives light to every man” (Yochanan - John 1:9) came into the world so that man could see Elohim and not live in spiritual darkness anymore. Yahushua said …

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Yochanan - John 8:12.

“I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should stay in darkness.” Yochanan - John 12:46.

We should be able to see that our blessed Saviour Yahushua is represented by the main branch of the Menorah, and therefore we as the faithful in Him are also represented in that branch, for the other six branches tell us a very special prophetic message related to the “Feasts of YHVH” (Vayikra – Leviticus chapter 23). For all those who have come to believe in Yahushua as their Saviour should now be living as “children of light” (Ephesians 5:8) who draw our source of light from Yahushua, who is the true light. Yahushua also calls us … “light of the world” and commands us to “let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven” (Mattityahu - Matthew 5: 14, 16). Although, we can be somewhat related to the branches pictorially of Yahushua’s description of our relationship with him: “I am the vine, you are the branches … apart from me you can do nothing” (Yochanan - John 15:5), although in truth this in fact related more to a tree!

Two other significant symbols that can be seen include the fact that it was made of pure gold, for it was not gold plated, and it has one central post and six branches, three each size, but seven branched in all! Pure gold is a representation of deity and perfection of Yahushua The Messiah and seven is the number of completeness as found in the Word of YaHVaH Elohim, and the faithful in Him is made complete and whole in and through the perfection of Messiah Yahushua, for we are His friends …

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My Commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's Commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.” Yochanan - John 15:9-14.

As we can see on the image above the Menorah may have had some significant prophetic meanings

Look at them and consider them all very carefully!

2 … The Showbread Table:

As you look at the showbread table below it will be most likely that many will think, well that looks very different to what I had anticipated, for many had seen images of a simple table with a small crown of gold around it and with a stack of bread on top of it! But no, the fact is by far more intricate, for not only was the stand rather special, but the table had a decorative rack containing a stack of shelves in two rows, and this kept each loaf of bread completely separate and thus they never touched and air would flow around them. When YaHVaH provides a plan to build something be assured that He gives instruction to have it built correctly and to a very specific design, for just like our bodies, which is the ultimate of perfection, and as every single part of our body has a purpose, so does this simple table have a reason in its detail!

Now let us look as some of these Scriptural details …

“Make a table of Acacia wood, two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high. Overlay it with pure gold and make a gold moulding around it … Put the bread of the Presence on this table to be before Me at all times.” Shemos - Exodus 25:23-24 & 30.

“Set them in two rows, six in each row, on the table of pure gold before YHVH. Along each row put some pure incense as a memorial portion to represent the bread and to be an offering made to YHVH by fire. This bread is to be set out before YHVH regularly, Sabbath after Sabbath on behalf of the Israelites as a lasting covenant.” Vayikra - Leviticus 24:6-8.

“They made the table of Acacia wood, two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high. Then they overlaid it with pure gold and made a gold moulding around it.” Shemos - Exodus 37:10-11.

The Showbread was stacked with dishes, and not as ‘christian’ theologians and commentators tend to show it as a flat table

The table of showbread was made of Acacia wood (Hebrew: “a’tzey-Shittim”) and was overlaid with pure gold. The table itself measured 2 cubits long and 1 cubit deep, it stood 1½ cubit high. It stood on the right side (north) of the Sanctified Place across from the Lamp stand and it held 12 loaves of bread, which were stacked in two rows of six high in two rows, the bottom tray resting on the table. These loaves represented the 12 tribes of Israel. The priests would bake the bread with fine flour and pure olive oil and it would remain on the table before YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, for a whole week from Sabbath to Sabbath. Then the priests would remove it and eat it in the Holy Place, and then replace it with fresh bread. Only the priests were permitted to eat the bread and it could only be eaten inside the Sanctified Place and that was because the bread was blessed! The bread was baked on the 6th.day (a Friday) and it was then placed onto the table on the Sabbath, and it remained totally fresh for the entire week and obviously perfectly good to eat! As you can see from the image above there were two bowls of frankincense, which has great representation, as everything does! As we will know from the story of the wise men, that frankincense was considered a most valuable spice and it was one of the gifts given to the baby Yahushua in Bethlehem, although we do realise this was obviously NOT in December, but during the final major Feast of YaHVaH Elohim, being the Feast of Trumpets (Shofar), Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) and Tabernacles (Sukkot), which is upheld during September/October!

“Showbread” also was called the “bread of the presence” because it was to be always in YaHVaH’s presence. The table and the bread was a blessed picture of Elohim’s willingness to fellowship and to share something in common with man. It was like an invitation to share a meal, an extension of friendship. Eating together often is an act of fellowship and Elohim was willing for man to enter into His presence to fellowship with Him, and this invitation was always open.

Our blessed Messiah Yahushua exemplified this when He ate with tax collectors, prostitutes and the sinners within the Hebrew society. But this was more than just a gesture of friendship on earth. Yahushua came to call sinners to Him and to make them right with His Father, so that they could enjoy everlasting fellowship with Elohim. He said in Yochanan - John 6:35, 45-50 …

“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry, and he who believes in Me will never be thirsty … Your forefathers ate the manna in the desert, yet they died. But here is the Bread that comes down from heaven, which a man may eat and not die.”

Elohim so desires our fellowship that He was willing to send His Only Begotten Son as our “bread of life” to give eternal life to all those who will only partake in it. At Yahushua’s final (pre) Passover meal with His beloved disciples, He described Himself as “the Bread” again:

“While they were eating, Yahushua took the unleavened bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying, ‘Take and eat; this is My body.’” Mattityahu - Matthew 26:26.

Yahushua’s broken body is our only access to fellowship with Elohim. Today, when we celebrate the Passover we remember this important truth. And today, as in the day of Moshe’s Tabernacle, Elohim still desires to have fellowship and sit down to have a feast with His people.

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.” Revelations 3:20.

It is important to note that the bread did contain pure olive oil, the same sanctified oil, which was used in the Menorah! And beloved, we need to understand that the oil in the bread represents the Ruach HaKodesh – Sanctified (holy) Spirit, the loving power of YaHVaH Elohim that lives in our lives once we have come to believe in Yahushua, repented of our sin, and been Immersed in water. His loving Spirit aids in ongoing building work that all true faithful believers in Messiah need in our lives and this makes us stronger and able to go forth and share His blessed Word of Truth!

3 … The Altar of Incense:

Elohim commanded the priests to burn incense on the golden altar every morning and evening, the same time that the daily burnt offerings were made. The incense was to be left burning continually throughout the day and night as a pleasing aroma to YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name. It was made of an equal part of four precious spices, such as stacte, onycha, galbanum and frankincense and it was considered as sanctified.

Elohim commanded the Israelites not to use the same formula ever outside the tabernacle or to make any kind of perfume from this recipe for their own consumption; otherwise, they would be cut off from their people (Exodus 30:34-38).

“Make an altar of Acacia wood for burning incense. It is to be square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits high, its horns of one piece with it. Overlay the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and make a gold moulding around it. Make two gold rings for the altar below the moulding, two on opposite sides to hold the poles used to carry it. Make the poles of Acacia wood and overlay them with gold. Put the altar in front of the curtain that is before the ark of the Testimony before the atonement cover that is over the Testimony, where I will meet with you.” Shemos - Exodus 30:1-6.

The Altar of Incense close to the curtain of the Holy of Holies and it was in use 24 hours a day!

Just in front of the curtain that separated the Holy Place from the Sanctified (holy) of Holies was the golden altar of incense, This altar was smaller than the brazen altar which was located outside in the Tabernacle court. It was square in shape with each side measuring 1.5 feet and it was 3 feet high. Its main body was made of Acacia wood and was beautifully overlaid with pure gold. On the top four corners there were horns protruding from the altar.

The four precious spices used on the altar of Incense was very special and was, as I have stated to be exclusively to be used inside the Tabernacle, for the odour of this incense was a symbol of the prayers and intercession of the people going up to Elohim as a sweet fragrance. YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, wanted His dwelling to be a place where people could approach Him and pray to Him, as it was later said in Yeshayahu - Isaiah 56:7

“… for My House will be called a House of prayer for all nations.”

The picture of prayers wafting up to heaven is like incense and that is captured in David’s psalm and also in Yochanan’s - John’s vision in Revelations:

“May my prayer be set before You like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.” Tehillim - Psalm 141:2.

“Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne. The smoke of the incense together with the prayers of the saints went up before Elohim from the angel’s hand.” Revelations 8:3-4.

The golden altar, furthermore, is a representation of the Messiah, who is our intercessor before Elohim the Father. During His days on earth, Yahushua prayed for the believers. He was like the high priest of the Tabernacle, who bore the names of each of the Israelite tribes on His breastplate before Elohim. Just before He was betrayed and sentenced to death, Yahushua interceded for His disciples and all the faithful, asking Elohim to guard them from evil and to sanctify them by His Word and that they may see Elohim’s glory and be a witness to the world (Yochanan - John 17:1-26). Today, Yahushua still is our high priest but He is now back at His Father’s side, interceding for Elohim’s people:

“Yahushua the Messiah, who died but more than that, who was raised to life, is at the right hand of Elohim and is also interceding for us.” Romans 8:34.

Since we have been forgiven of our sins through the shed Blood of the Messiah we can come boldly in prayer in Yahushua’s Name. And beloved, when we pray in His Name, and I mean in HIS REAL NAME, we are praying based on the work that He has done and certainly not on our own merit. It is in His powerful Name that we are saved and immersed and in His name we live, speak and act!

“And I will do whatever you ask in MY NAME, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask Me for anything IN MY NAME and I will do it.” Yochanan - John 14:13-14.

The horns of the golden altar were sprinkled with blood from the animal sacrifice to cleanse and purify it from the sins of the Israelites (Vayikra - Leviticus 4:7, 16:18). Just as the horns on the brazen altar represent the power of Yahushua’s precious blood to forgive sins, the horns on golden altar signify the power of His blood in prayer as we confess our sins and ask the Father in Yahushua’s Name for forgiveness.

“And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” Ya’akov - James 5:15-16.

4 … The Ark of the Covenant:

The Ark of the Covenant is the best known item in the Tabernacle and it has been the source of flippant Hollywood movies as well as some weird so-called “christian” archaeologist stating that he has not only found it, but that it was located directly under where Golgotha the so-called “Cross stood and that the Blood of Christ dripped down through the rocks and it fell directly on the Mercy Seat.” Well, beloved, the truth is do not bother looking, for it is not there and that evil so called “christian” led by Satan, was telling a whole lot of lies, for he Never even had been where he claimed he had been! Let us get back to the Word, for the truth is that the blessed Scriptures states something entirely different …

“Then Elohim’s temple in heaven was opened, and within His temple was seen the Ark of His Covenant.” Revelations 11:19.

Yes beloved, the Ark of the Covenant is not here on the earth, it is safe with Elohim!

We can see the completed Ark of the Covenant the assembled three boxes of the actual Ark, the lid, being

The Mercy Seat with the two Cherubim and the poles

But above we see the superb gold Ark and its magnificent cover with the two Cherubim with their wings spreading over the mercy seat, but we all know that the Ark was more than just something sublimely beautiful, for within the detail of its construction lays a very powerful message and a wonderful lesson to all of us as believers in Messiah Yahushua our blessed Redeemer, who we know is in the very heart of the Tabernacle!

But let us first commence with the box that made up the Ark itself for it is made of three separate parts, but let us first read Shemos- Exodus 25:10-11.

“Have them make a chest of Acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide and a cubit and a half high. Overlay it with pure gold, both inside and out, and make a gold moulding around it.”

“Cast four gold rings for it and fasten them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other. Then make poles of Acacia wood and overlay them with gold. Insert the poles into the rings on the sides of the chest to carry it. The poles are to remain in the rings of this ark; they are not to be removed. Then put in the ark the Testimony, which I will give you.” Shemos- Exodus 25:12-16.

Here we see the three boxes of the Ark two of gold and one made of 100% simple Acacia wood

Which one do you think represents our beloved Saviour, Yahushua The Messiah?

Within the Sanctified (holy) of Holies, shielded from the eye of the people in general, there was one piece of furniture comprising two main parts but created out of four pieces: the Ark of the Covenant box (3 pieces) and the “Atonement Cover,” or what is also known as “Mercy Seat”, on top of it (1 piece). The Ark was a chest made of three individual boxes; the outer one was made of Acacia wood, but overlaid with pure gold both inside and out. It was 3 feet, 9 inches long and 2 feet, 3 inches wide and high. Then there was the inner box that was made entirely of Acacia wood, and finally there was the internal box of all gold that had a flat brim bent outwards, thus it would completely cover the Acacia wood middle box and it could not be seen!

When the Ark had been completed YaHVaH Elohim commanded Moshe to place inside the Ark the stone tablets of the “Ten Commandments.” Then located beside the Ark there two further items were placed, one being a golden pot of manna and added at a later time as was commanded by Elohim, was Aaron’s rod that had budded upon his election by the YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name! I will discuss all these objects in further detail below.

The Atonement Cover:

The Atonement Cover was of course the lid for the Ark. Above were two Cherubim, one at each end and facing each other. The Cherubim were symbols of Elohim’s Divine presence and power that were facing forward over the Ark with outstretched wings that covered the “Atonement Cover” or the “Mercy Seat”. The whole cover was beaten out of one piece of pure gold, for this was YaHVaH Elohim’s, blessed be His Sanctified Name, place of residence in the Tabernacle. It was His throne and thus flanked by His Cherubim. Elohim said to Moshe:

“There, above the cover between the two cherubim that is over the Ark of the Testimony, I will meet with you and give you all My commands for the Israelites.” Shemos - Exodus 25:22.

“Tell your brother Aaron not to come whenever he chooses into the Most Sanctified Place behind the curtain in front of the Atonement Cover on the Ark, or else he will die, because I appear in the cloud over the Atonement Cover.” Vayikra - Leviticus 16:2.

Interestingly, the words Mercy Seat in Hebrew is “HaKaporet” - whilst the primitive root word “Kaphar” translates as “Cover” and “Atonement” as well as … from Strongs OT:3722 - cleanse, disannul, forgive, be merciful, pacify, pardon, purge (away), put off, (make) reconcile.

Thus each year, Aaron the high priest would enter the Sanctified (holy) of Holies on the Day of Yom Kippur (Day of “Atonement”) and he would sprinkle blood from a bull onto the Atonement Cover for him and his household’s sins, thereafter he sprinkled blood from the “scapegoat” for the sins of Israel. Elohim had said that when He saw the blood, it would cover the sin of man. To “atone” means to “cover” hence the name “Atonement Cover.” Elohim would no longer see their sin anymore, but the provision instead and this appeased His wrath.

The Cherubim with their wings over the “Mercy Seat”

The Israelites found acceptance with Elohim by believing His word to be true, that when their sins were covered by blood, Elohim would temporarily overlook their sins as if they had been obliterated. But Yahushua our Messiah has become our permanent Atonement. For through the shedding of Yahushua’s precious blood, our sins have been covered forever. When Elohim looks at us, He does not see our sin, but the provision: His own Son. Yahushua lay down His life for us as an innocent sacrifice in order that Elohim would look on us and see His perfection.

The “Mercy Cover” was Elohim’s throne in the midst of the Israelites. Elohim is on His throne today in heaven and Yahushua our high priest is at His right side. When we come to Elohim today, we approach His throne of grace and whenever we have erred, we can ask for forgiveness in the Name of Yahushua, and we are assured of forgiveness!

“Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16.

Thus the two Cherubim are symbols of Elohim’s Divine presence and power, where facing over the Ark with their outstretched wings covering the “Mercy Seat”. The whole structure, the cover and the two Cherubim were beaten out of one piece of pure gold.

Other Scriptures also speak of Elohim’s throne:

“… the Ark of Elohim, which is called by the name, the Name of YHVH Almighty, who is enthroned between the Cherubim that are on the Ark.” (2 Shmuel - 2 Samuel 6:2.

“O YHVH Almighty, Elohim of Israel, enthroned between the Cherubim, You alone are Elohim over all the kingdoms of the earth.” Yeshayahu - Isaiah 37:16.

Above the Ark and the Atonement Cover, YaHVaH Elohim appeared in His glory in “unapproachable light” (1 Timothy 6:16). This light is sometimes referred to as the “Shechinah glory.” The word Shechinah, although it does not appear in our English bibles, has the same root word as the word for Tabernacle in Hebrew and refers to the presence of Elohim.

Because the Ark was Elohim’s throne among His people, it was a symbol of His presence and power to them wherever it went. There are quite a number of miracles recorded in the Tanach the Old Covenant surrounding the Ark: With the presence of the Ark, the waters of the River Jordan divided in order that the Israelites could cross on dry land and the walls of Jericho fell so that the Israelites could capture it (Yahushua - Joshua 3:14-17, 6:6-21). Yet the Ark could not be treated with irreverence of any shape or form, because it was a symbol of Elohim’s greatness, judgment and wrath. When the Israelites fought their enemies the Philistines during the time of the prophet Shmuel - Samuel, they disregarded the commands of YaHVaH and took the Ark out to the battlefield with them, attempting to “summon” Elohim’s presence. However, Elohim caused the Philistines to win the battle and “the glory departed from Israel, for the Ark of YaHVaH was taken” (1 Shmuel – 1 Samuel 4:22). However, Elohim showed His power to the Philistines when He caused their idol, Dagon, to fall to the ground when the Ark was placed next to it, and several Philistine cities were plagued heavily when the Ark was in their midst (1 Shmuel - 1 Samuel 5). Ultimately, the Ark was returned to Israel.

Now we come to the Articles in and next to the Ark of the Covenant:

What may seem strange to us today is the following, hidden in this great golden Ark, representing Elohim’s presence and the items located directly beside it, were not great treasures of precious gems, etc, but three of the most unlikely items: two stones, a jar of bread, and a stick. That was it! Thus, what were these curious keepsakes and why did Elohim want them in and around His Ark?

Beloved, these three articles represented some of the greatest, most embarrassing and disgraceful events in the history of the Israelites.

First; The Tablets of the Ten Commandments:

No one knows what the original tablets of the Ten Commandments written by the finger of Elohim on Mount Sinai (or Chorebah) looked like. As Moshe brought them down from the top of the mountain, he became so incensed by the Children of Israel who at large had in collaboration with Aaron, had constructed a pagan golden calf in order to worship it. When Moshe observed the corruption of the people he smashed the tablets of the Decalogue to the ground at the foot of the mountain and therefore he had to return to the top of the mountain to seek Elohim for two new ones.

Although we refer to them as the “Ten Commandments,” they are not named in such a way in the text of the Torah, the Five Books of Moshe where they are recorded in more than one location: Shemos - Exodus 34:1-28; Davarim - Deuteronomy 5:6-21. They are always referred to as “HaBarith A’Seret” meaning “the Ten Words” or “Sayings.” Whilst in the Greek Septuagint it is “Deka Logos” that also means “Ten Words.”

How the Ten Words are divided, grouped and enumerated is debated among the Jewish scholars and various Christian groups with several different variations, but the Scriptures clearly state that they were inscribed on both sides of each tablet … Shemos - Exodus 32:15.

We need to realise that the original ancient script being the “Palaeo-Hebrew” lettering that is the oldest representation of the text in the Hebrew language, the square style Hebrew letter type came in at a later date.

The question is, “should we keep the Ten Commandments today?” The Ten Commandments are listed as shown above in three places in the Books of Moshe and our beloved Saviour Yahushua makes frequent mention of them to be kept on various occasions and in fact He even strengthens some of the laws to a far greater extent! It is said that he came to do away with the law, but in the New Covenant, if you will only check it, you will discover it is the complete opposite. Read “Does the New Covenant abolish the Law?”

Obviously, the vast majority of those reading this study would agree that we should not have any other gods before the true Elohim. And many would not bow down to an image. However, countless of millions of those who call themselves “Christians” have a variety of statues in their home that they not only bow down to, but pray and worship, and that include saints! However, the true believer in Yahushua THE Messiah would say that we should not take the name of YaHVaH Elohim in vain. Some would say that we should keep one day of the week holy, yet tragically there is disagreement on which day and how holy to keep it, even though Elohim has set the day in concrete at the completion of the creation, and reconfirmed it at Mt Sinai! Almost everyone would honour their father and their mother. Most would not murder, and most would say we should not commit adultery, steal, lie or covet. The criminal laws of several countries are based to some extent on the Ten Commandments. Yet in spite of all that there is disagreement amongst so many “Christians” on if they are required to keep the Ten Commandments or not. The question I ask, what is wrong with you all, you tend to keep nine of them for it makes common sense, but what about the fourth one? But more on this subject in the summery further down the page.

In addition: It has often been held by many that the broken pieces of the first two tablets were also kept inside the “Ark of the Covenant” however; there is no Scriptural evidence for this whatsoever, for the Word rather states the opposite!

“Moshe turned and went down the mountain with the Two Tablets of the Testimony in his hands. They were inscribed on both-sides, front and back. The tablets were the work of Elohim; the writing was the writing of Elohim, engraved on the tablets.” Shemos - Exodus 32:15-16.

There was nothing in the Ark except the two Stone Tablets that Moshe had placed in it at Horeb, where YHVH made a Covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt.” 1 Melachim – 1 Kings 8:9.

There was nothing in the Ark except the Two Tablets that Moshe had placed in it at Horeb, where YHVH made a Covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt.” 2 Chronicles 5:10.

Please Note: It is important to understand that the two verses above relate to a time during the reign of King Solomon and upon the completion of the temple that he had built for YaHVaH Elohim! It was at this time the Ark of the Covenant was moved from the Tabernacle into the new Holy of Holies of the great Temple! And as we learned from the two verses that inside the Ark there were ONLY the tablets of the Ten Commandments! The question arises, how come that in the book of Hebrews it states that there were also other items inside the Ark, which is incorrect! Let us first read what is written and then look closer at the verse.

“For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the showbread; which is called the sanctuary. And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all, which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant.” Hebrews 9:2-4. KJV. Below I will show verse 4 from the NIV and NASU.

“… which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron's staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.” Verse 4. NIV.

“… having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden jar holding the manna, and Aaron's rod which budded, and the tables of the covenant.” Verse 4. NASU.

The point is, why is the New Covenant so wrong, and why can that possibly be so? As Aaron’s rod was removed on certain occasions, as we clearly learn from the “Meribah” study, believe me, you would then have to remove the cover and that would take many priests to lift it, for no one could touch it, and considering that only Moshe and the high priest could enter, we have a problem! The “rod” and the pot of manna were beside the Ark as the original Hebrew Scriptures teach! Sadly, “christian” so-called theologians have made far too many errors in the Brit Chadashah the New Covenant, which at large was mostly originally written in Hebrew!

Please note: The Greek fonts used below = bwgrkl:

In Hebrews 9:2-4 the Greek the word “wherein” is used a number of times, it means, “in which” in Greek it is evn ev (en) heé (Hos).” - “Ev – En” and this is the main word here and this is what Strongs concordance has to say about it: NT:1722: en (en); a primary preposition denoting (fixed) position (in place, time or state), and (by implication) instrumentality (medially or constructively), i.e. a relation of rest (intermediate between NT:1519 and NT:1537); "in," at, (up-) on, (close) by, etc.

Because this preposition has more than one meaning (evn prep. in, on, at; near, by, before; among, within; by, with; into) it is up to the translator to choose the correct meaning when translating from the Greek to the English. Obviously he translated incorrectly as proven by the Word of Elohim.

Then there is this 3.13 -  e;sw; evn; eivj: a position defined as being within certain limits, thus nearby. There are many other Greek scholars, and my Greek associate who has been with me since 1983, has defined this word as actually meaning as being nearby and in inside! Let us be honest, would the Word of Elohim itself make His own word to be a liar? No certainly not! Personally, I believe that the translators of the New Covenant simply had a great lack of knowledge of Hebrew and the Tanach, the Old Covenant for otherwise they would have known about those verses that so clearly stated that there was only the Tablets of the Commandments of YaHVaH in the Ark! All Jewish people know this, but then they know the Word, why is it that “christians” are so obviously blind and that is sad!

Second; the pot of manna:

“So Moshe said to Aaron, ‘Take a pot and put an omer of manna in it. Then place it before YHVH to be kept for the generations to come.’ As YHVH commanded Moshe, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.” Shemos – Exodus 16:33-34.

As we have already covered, many wrongly believed that the manna was “inside the Ark” but, that is not what the Scriptures state, for it says … “Before the Testimony,” being the Ark of the Covenant, thus it was kept beside the Ark, where it was to be kept!

Elohim had provided this bread-like food for the Israelites when they first started to grumble during their wanderings in the desert and it was bread from heaven indeed! He continued to provide the food daily and faithfully, but sadly as human nature continually proves, and the same applied this day, the people were not too thankful as they became rather tired of eating all that “Manna.”

Beloved, do you know what the word “manna” really means? The truth is, it is sort of a question that asks “What is it?” Thus they were eating all this - “what is it” year in and year out! Therefore, they complained and they really wanted something else, but it was worse than that, because many kept on harping on and continued on complaining, “Back in Egypt we had homes and good food, with spices,” etc.  Thus they were looking back, and that is Satan’s clever trick, sadness, introversion and depression is all part of Satan getting people into His realm! The pot of manna was an uncomfortable reminder that despite of what Elohim had provided for them, a good number of the Israelites were rejecting Elohim’s provision.

Third; Aarons Budding Rod:

There was a time when the people out of sheer jealousy, rebelled against Aaron as their high priest. To resolve the dispute, Elohim commanded the people to take 12 staffs or rods and the elder of each of the twelve tribes and to write their name on it. Aaron wrote his name on his rod being the elder of the priestly tribe of the Levites. All twelve /rods were to be placed before the Ark overnight. Then the next day, Aaron’s rod had miraculously budded, but it did not just have blossoms, but in addition there were almonds on the rod! Thus, Elohim confirmed His clear choice that Aaron’s household was to be His priestly line forever!

“And YHVH said to Moshe, ‘Put back the rod of Aaron BEFORE the Testimony, to be kept as a sign for the rebels, that you may make an end of their grumblings against Me, lest they die.’” Bamidbar - Numbers 17:10.

Thus as we have read in the Scripture above that the rod was to be placed “before” the Ark and why was this so? Because that it “be kept as a sign for the rebels, that you may make an end of their grumblings against Me.” How can it possibly be a “sign” if it is locked away inside the Ark?

A drawing of Aarons budding rod, complete with almonds

The rod reminded the Israelites that on more than one occasion, they had rejected Elohim’s authority. As I have stated, it is held by “christians” that Aaron’s Rod was kept in the Ark, but considering that the rod was at almost 7 foot long, which was the average length. Personally, I have a traditional style “Rod” and I cal tell you, mine would certainly not fit in the Ark, but again the Word clearly states “before the Testimony” meaning “Before the Ark of the Covenant”!

I ask all those clever “christian” theologians who have studied so hard and have gained your diplomas at your respective theological collages, how will you manage to put a 7-foot long rod in an Ark that was 3 foot 9 inches long. Obviously, it is impossible, but I have noted that not one of you have attempted to correct this or any of the other huge errors over the past 2,000 years!

The author’s 6 foot Rod that is a little shorter than those of the Scriptural times

The stone tablets of the Ten Commandments:

Elohim had chosen the Children of Israel as His special people. For the Israelites to qualify for that distinction, He had demanded just one thing they had to obey His Law, the Ten Commandments and the laws that He had given to Moshe for all Israel to uphold:

“Now if you obey Me fully and keep My covenant, then out of all nations you will be My treasured possession. Although the whole earth is Mine, you will be for Me a kingdom of priests and a sanctified (holy) nation.” Shemos - Exodus 19:5-6.

The Israelites had said heartily, “All that YHVH has spoken we will do,” (Shemos - Exodus 19:8) in response to His covenant. But how did they fare in fulfilling their part of the contract? At first most continued in His ways, but slowly some fell by the wayside and as time passed, especially during the days of Yirmyahu – Jeremiah Israel slowly fell away and many more did not uphold the 613 laws that been given to them in the wilderness, let alone the Ten Commandments! We need to understand that not every person were bound to all of the 613 laws, for that is a fallacy that priests and pastors teach and it is error, for many of the laws were only relevant to the priests and related to sacrifices, whilst others to the farmer, or to specific situation’s. Thus most Israelites had many less laws to uphold and they were mostly related to their relationship with the Father, upholding the Sabbath and the Feasts, as well as family and relationships, etc! But, Elohim made it quite clear to them of the consequences of their sin by sending plagues, natural disasters and foreign armies upon them. The stone tablets in the Ark were an ongoing reminder that the Israelites had rejected Elohim’s high standard of living.

These three articles were preserved in Sanctified (holy) of Holies throughout Israel’s history as a symbol of man’s sins and shortcomings, sort of a reminder of how many of them rejected Elohim’s provision, authority and right standard of living. It pointed to man as a helpless sinner, but that Elohim was there to redeem, thus the “Mercy Seat.”

Fourth: The Scrolls of the Testimony of the Covenant:

“Take this Scroll (Hebrew: Sepher) of the Law and place it beside the Ark of the Covenant of YHVH your Elohim. There it will remain as a witness against you. For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you have been rebellious against YHVH while I am still alive and with you, how much more will you rebel after I die! Assemble before me all the elders of your tribes and all your officials, so that I can speak these words in their hearing and call heaven and earth to testify against them. For I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to turn from the way I have commanded you. In days to come, disaster will fall upon you because you will do evil in the sight of YHVH and provoke Him to anger by what your hands have made.” Davarim - Deuteronomy 31:26-29.

These were the closing words of Moshe by his own hand in the Tanach, the Old Covenant, for the last verse of chapter 31:30 and all of chapter 32, containing the “Song of Moshe,” his walk up the mountain and Moshe’s death aged 120, was written by Yahushua – Joshua, being Moshe’s successor!

Thus beloved, the stone Tablets inside the “Ark of the Covenant” and the pot of Manna were placed in the Sanctified (holy) of Holies from the very beginning. A little later the budding Rod of Aaron was added, and then toward the very end at Kadesh Barnea after some forty years of wandering, the “Scroll of the Torah,” also known as “The Five Books of Moshe” was placed beside the Ark as a witness!

Did you notice that all the items represent a warning against rebellion and sin? Together with pictures of salvation throughout the Mishchan as well as the “Brazen Altar” outside in the courtyard!

6. A Summary of the Vessels in the Tabernacle

In conclusion …

The items in and next to the Ark of the Covenant – Revisited:

It does seem that the three items in the Sanctified (holy) of Holies, the tablets of stone, being the “Ten Commandments” that were there to serve as a reminder of the people’s shortcomings have taken on quite a new meaning since Yahushua the Messiah redeemed us from our sins. Therefore, let me briefly review these three items and discover how each of them point to our Saviour.

1 - The pot of manna:

When Yahushua came and walked on this sinful earth, He Himself became Elohim’s provision to us. You see, Manna is the bread from heaven, but by its own self, Manna did not impart life. However, Yahushua who was without sin told us that He is the “true bread from heaven.”

“Yahushua said to them, ‘I tell you the truth, it is not Moshe who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. I am the bread of life. Your forefathers ate the manna in the desert, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which a man may eat and not die.’” Yochanan - John 6:32, 48-50.

2 - Aaron’s budding Rod:

Yahushua did not reject Elohim’s authority. Instead, He submitted Himself to His Father’s will and died on the stake (tree - cross).

“For I have come down from heaven not to do My will but to do the will of Him who sent Me.” Yochanan - John 6:38.

Thus, you might say that He came back to life just like Aaron’s budding, flowering and fruitful rod, “the firstfruits from the dead” 1 Corinthians 15:20.

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die.” John 11:15-26.

3 - The Ten Commandments:

Yahushua never rejected the law of Elohim but instead He lived according to the law! For He clearly states this on a number of occasions. However, our Saviour summed up the laws in a simple manner, for if you would do what He said, then you would automatically keep all Ten of the Commandments!

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My (Elohim’s) Commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's Commandments and abide in His love.

He lived a sinless life and obeyed Elohim’s Law perfectly, becoming our perfect sacrifice and intercessor, which, praise be to Elohim abolished blood sacrifices for sin, but the Ten Commandments MUST be part of every believers life, if not, then you are rejecting YaHVaH Elohim and His only begotten son, our beloved Saviour, Yahushua the Messiah, for He Himself instructed us to keep the Commandments! In addition, Messiah and all of His Apostles, long after He had returned to His Father’s side, upheld the Forth Commandments on the Seventh Day, Elohim’s Sabbath Day!

However, it was due to the pagan Emperor Constantine the first, who was by the way, a sun-worshipper, who came to ultimate power in 313 A.D., and he decided to officially formalise and legalize a state church of “christianity,” with a mix of paganism and he was the very first to legally enforce the first SUNday-keeping law, known as his infamous Sunday enforcement Blue Law that came in on March 7, 321 A.D., and tragically it reads as follows:

On the venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed.” (Codex Justinianus 3.12.3).

And yet, the harlot daughters, and I do mean the harlot protestant churches have followed this pagan’s new day of the sun god as their new “lords day” as well as taking on Constantine’s newly imposed dual pagan feasts that have its origins going back a thousand or more years before our blessed Saviour even came to the earth, and these feasts we now know as 1. Easter (named after the goddess Eastre) and 2. Christmas (a “Mass for Christ,” but it is really a festival for the god of the winter Solstice).

Beloved, the fourth law is just as important as all the others, for Yahushua and his Apostles upheld the Sabbath all of their lives and the faithful in Him did, even at the cost of their lives and sadly so many of them were murdered by the thousands by that wicked pagan Church of Rome, as well as the Lutheran’s and the Anglican’s and other Protestants by the millions over the centuries, but the faithful in Yahushua continue to uphold the Sabbath Day to this very day, for YaHVaH Elohim and Yahushua expects us to do so!

The truth is that the Word as given by Elohim as was confirmed by Yahushua and it will stand forever, at least whilst we are in our mortal bodies, but praise be to Him, all will be changed on that day when we enter the “Kingdom of YaHVaH Elohim” for then we will live eternally in a Sabbath! HalleluYAH!

Messiah also said, and He spoke very clearly here …

You are My friends if you do whatever I Command you.” Yochanan - John 15:14.

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” Mattityahu - Matthew 5:17-18.

Some will say that “everything is accomplished.” Beloved, I will tell you it is not, look at the Menorah image above once again, and you will note that only four out of the Seven “Feasts of YHVH” have been fulfilled, and three of the prophetic Feasts are yet in the future, the blowing of Trumpets, The Day of Atonements, Tabernacles, and even then it is not “finished! Beloved, for within one of the feasts there are two very special occasions, or feasts, “Passover” for example it commences with one day being the days the lamb without spot and blemish is slain, and that day is followed by the seven day of “Unleavened Bread,” making it eight days in total. Eight, if you will read the author’s Passover study, is a very special number, for it means “LIFE,” a “NEW Beginning!” All the next feasts are one day, but the very last feast “Sukkot” or “Tabernacles” is Seven days long, but Elohim added the “Eighth Day,” thus here we see once again an eight day feast has great meaning! However, this time the day is located at the end - the final feast for it will be all “FINISHED.” Prophetically, this “Eighth Day” represents the “New Heaven and the new Earth.” Beloved, you will just have to read my study series the “Feasts of YHVH”, which you can locate on the Site INDEX!

Thus when Yahushua said “until everything is accomplished (or finished)” He did mean the day we will enter the “New Heaven and Earth,” being the “Kingdom of Elohim!” And beloved, all this and so much more is shown right there in the Mishchan, the Tabernacle!

A Closing word from the author:

The word “Sanctuary” in Hebrew is “Mikadesh” and this comes from the root word “Kodesh” signifying the Holiness of YaHVaH. Anything coming into this sphere is rendered as Sanctified not because of the object but the presence of YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, Himself. It cannot be contained alone as it manifests itself to the rules joining and separating oneself from death and life. “Mikadesh” is likened to the soul or breath that cannot be seen and the “Mishchan” is likened to the seen part of the body. But if the Sanctification of Elohim is not present, then the body is just an empty shell! But, for those in faith, full of life it must remain a body that is faithful and living in the light and in the Word of the Father and the Son - Yahushua! Therefore, how much more should we guard our bodies knowing that it represents the “Mishchan” dwelling on earth, for if we are redeemed by the shed blood of the Lamb of Elohim, Yahushua, we are indwelt by the Holiness of our Elohim and His light is manifest in us and we all come into His sphere of influence!

In addition

When we look at the “Mishchan,” the Tabernacle, we might think of two different kinds of men, each is represented according to the ability of their movements depending to their lifestyles. One man will move as he desires and does whatever he wants and when he wants, but a true man of faith in Yahushua, who waits on his Elohim to move and he moves according to His presence, His command, His direction and then completes and fulfils the task set for that day!

As we have seen, great effort went into the construction of the “Mishchan” great faith is needed to sustain it and to carry out His will. Unless our “Mishchan” moves according to his direction we will be left with just the “Mishchan” the shell and the center or the “Kadosh HaKodeshim” (Sanctified of Holies) would have moved on without us. The governing unity was always for his “Mishchan” to dwell together as one in the faithful in Yahushua the Messiah, and it can never separate. For YaHVaH Elohim, and Yahushua must always be placed first within us and our bodies, which is just a vessel to carry out His will to us first and also to all those we come into contact with. This can be difficult for some and not everyone can live that close to the will of the Father and our beloved Saviour, for it takes a great deal of dedication and will power, but it does depend on how much we love Him! If you love Him so much that you place your vessel, being your body for Him to use it fully (remember free will) then friends you also can accomplish this. Yes He can help you, but in the end it is sheer will and determination that will come through and envelop the body of your free will and you must turn it to His perfect will for us and all humanity. Like the pillar of fire and smoke was on the “Mishchan,” so it is within us, for the faithful in Yahushua, His Sanctified Spirit is right there in our Temple, and if we allow Him to direct us, we are able to do great things in Him, all we have to do is give our lives as a living sacrifice in His service, and go and share His Word of truth as led!

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Mattityahu - Matthew 5:14-16.

Let the Tabernacle lesson be this, be a great “Menorah” - a Lamp stand of light to the world, but start with your loved ones, your neighbours and those round about! And should our Heavenly Father call you into His service say - “Here I am Father, I am ready” and believe me, back in the seventies I said just that and since then, myself and my dear Greek brother in Yahushua have travelled the world sharing His Word to His glory!

I pray that this Tabernacle study has been a blessing to you and if it has been, it would be nice to hear from you. Be assured we do not keep address details or even reply, unless you have asked for one. As we do not send out news, or what seems to be these days more like … “beg-letters.” You will never hear from us, like all those other ministries, for we live by the Scriptural principle, “Give us this day our daily bread.” And beloved, He does provide for we have sufficient each day and that is enough; and we never worry about tomorrows needs!

Please share the love, mercy, forgiveness that our beloved Messiah offers and may the Spirit of our Precious Saviour touch and change them, that they may also receive the REWARD … FOR …

Great is your reward in heaven!” Mattityahu - Matthew 5:12.

Yahushua said; “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: They will all be taught by Elohim. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me. No one has seen the Father except the One who is from Elohim; only He has seen the Father.
