-Please Read this FIRST- On this site we prefer to use the actual Name of our loving Heavenly Father as it was written in the Word, and thus you will note that we will use the Four Letter “Memorial Name” of - YHVH, which is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH. In addition we will also use our Heavenly Father’s attribute/title, which is Elohim rather than “God,” which sadly is the name of a pagan god. In addition we also love to use the actual and real Name of our beloved Messiah which is - Yahushua or Yahshua in short, for this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him at birth in Lukas - Luke 1:31. This was the only Name ever used when He was on the earth by His family, disciples and His followers OVER THE centuries, even until today! However, it was changed to a foreign name by the founder of the new “pagan church of Rome.” Occasionally, we may also use other Hebrew or Greek names as well as different words in our studies for certain common words used are from pagan backgrounds and thus are not suitable. All names will be translated when they are FIRST used in a study or at various times as needed for clarity. Introduction:

December, have you not ever thought to yourself, why is this the twelfth month and why is the 31st.New Years Eve? You think to yourself; “That is a very strange question to ask at the beginning of a study, for the fact is, December is the twelfth month and it has always been so!”

Would you be surprised if I told you; “No, it used to be the tenth month!” All you have to do is think about the word “December,” or in the original Latin “Decem” or “Decembris”, for “Decem” means 10! In fact the word we know today as decimal came from this very same word.

Thus the calendar as we know it today is relatively new and it was accepted in various stages around the world. Both Britain and America adopted it in 1752, whereas other nations would not adopt it until as late as 1907.

Have you ever thought at midnight on December 31, as the world brings in the New Year with huge multi million dollar fireworks, massive parties, such as one of the world’s largest and most spectacular fireworks being the one on Sydney Australia’s harbour foreshore where some 1¾ of a million people assemble to watch a $6.6 million dollar spectacular in 2012/13. This fireworks goes for many kilometres along the harbour and it seems to get bigger and more costly year after year, with tourists arriving from all over the world just to see it!

Then this massive expense slowly goes around the globe as countless millions are spent, and many more millions more parties, getting totally drunk beyond belief and more and more fights break out that causes thousands of deaths be it through fights, accident and evil murders that occur on this supposedly “happy night!”

New Year combined with that so-called happy season of “Christmas” or better called by its original “Mass for Christ” is generally one of the most tragic times around the globe, for more people die on the roads during this time than any other time of the year. Yes, in our country it is our main school holidays, also it is the summer and countless people are on the road and far too many drink and drive for let’s face it, if it is Christmas, you just have to get drunk! And for New Year, well you just continue the party! Alcohol is Satan’s tool of madness! I do not agree that having a drink is sinful, but I do mean having a drink, for all things in moderation, but drunkenness is a sin!

Then there was the case of some crazy youth who stole a car and went off drag racing, and doing donuts wherever they wished, then went on speeding. But tragically their car went out of control and they crashed into an oncoming car and killed a family of four, including their two teenagers in the rear seat, in addition four passengers in the stolen car also died but amazingly the driver remained alive, although badly hurt. When he eventually when to youth court, for he was still under age, he was let off on probation and not permitted to get a licence for five years. To be honest, the legal system is evil these days, as kids at that age are usually repeat offenders.

It was around a year or so later this same guy, was both on drugs and completely drunk, some three times over the legal limit and he crashed his car again, and if the law had acted correctly the first time and locked him up, when he was obviously unlicensed, considering he was unlicensed and killed eight people, he was able to kill the driver of the other car this time, but he also died himself this time. The first accident was on January 1, had the court acted correctly, he would have been placed in a youth correctional centre and he and the driver of the other car would be alive today. New Year is not such a happy time for many, as it is for so many people all over the world, for whom it is a sad and yes a very hungry time, whilst the rest of the world drink until they have spent a fortune and get so drunk they do not even know their name, whilst cities of the world waste countless millions of dollars on fireworks, money that could feed multi millions of poor people with food and clean water for several years! That is what the pagan Christmas and new year is all about, for both of these festivals have nothing to do with our beloved Messiah, but they originate from pagan festivals a thousand or more years before our beloved Saviour arrived on the earth!

Part One

The Civil New Year and the Civil Calendar

Let me say first, I am sorry to have painted such an awful picture, but I am sure that you will know that there is a great deal of truth in what I have just told you, although the above is all factual! Personally, you may have had a simply wonderful New Year’s Eve, but have you ever asked yourself, why is it new years eve and why am I really celebrating it as a believer in the Saviour who shed His Precious Blood for me, that I might be Saved? The point is we need to examine the origins of the calendar we live by today.

The current calendar is known as the “Gregorian Calendar,” but before this calendar was adopted, there was the earlier known as the “Julian calendar,” which was introduced by Julius Caesar in 45 BC. It only had ten months that started with March, thus it was different, but the Julian calendar did slowly shift off track over the centuries. But, hundreds of years later, the monks were the only ones with any free time for scholarly pursuits and they were figuring out when to observe their feast of “Ishtar/Easter.” In the Middle Ages, the study of the measure of time was first viewed as prying too deeply into Elohim’s own affairs.

It was not until the time of Pope Gregory XIII (1502-1585) by which time Caesar’s “Julian Calendar” had drifted some ten days off course, he decided that the calendar had to be completely reformed. Ironically, by the time the “Roman Catholic Church” received the masses of the scientific reasoning that pointed out all the errors, they had lost their emphasis to go ahead. In the meantime, there were Protestant writers who where calling the proposed “Gregory’s calendar” by calling Pope Gregory the “Roman Antichrist” and they also stated that he was working to stop believers from worshiping on the correct days.

The “Gregorian calendar” was designed by a committee that Pope Gregory XIII set up in 1572. One of the key figures in the committee was the Jesuit astronomer Christopher Clavius who was head of a department at the Roman College of the “Society of Jesus.”

What’s more, the Pope founded an observatory at the Vatican, constructing the Tower of the Winds for the very purpose of aiding the calendar. The Vatican Observatory proudly acknowledges these events as its beginnings.

It would be on Thursday, October 4, 1582, it was proclaimed to be the very last day of the “Julian Calendar,” then for the next ten days, there were no official dates as the very first new day of the new “Gregorian Calendar” commenced on Friday, October 15, 1582.

Thus this calendar has now been in use for 430 years on October 15, 2012, and it would be considered to be a relatively new calendar, whereas the calendar our beloved Messiah Yahushua lived by, which all Hebrews (Jews) still live by today is ancient and it is by far more accurate but more so SCRIPTURAL!

The “new” and I must call “a spade a spade” meaning “speak the truth,” a new pagan calendar, the one that the world in general now lives by. However, the new calendar was not adopted uniformly across Europe until the early eighteenth century.

You noted that I stated that we live by a pagan calendar, obviously the Julian one would have been pagan you would have expected that! But you would think that the “Pope” someone who was the head of what was the world’s largest “Church” would have ensured that the new calendar that would bear his name, would be completely “Christian” and have nothing pagan in it. Well you would think so? However, we need to remember that this is the very same Roman Universal Church” that was commenced by Satan’s servant “Simon (Magnus) the Sorcerer.” Acts 8:9-24, and not Simon ben Yochanan, who is also known as our Saviour’s Apostle Peter, for he NEVER set a foot in Rome as the Word and Shaul - Paul very clearly proves! Let us look at the names of each Month and Day’s.

*Please Note: The “Julian Calendar” March was the First Month and December the Tenth, but interestingly, the months of Ianuarius (January) and Februarius (February) were originally created by Numa Pompilius long before the Julius calendar came about, but they were never added to the Julius Caesar edition, yet they are to be found in the next updated calendar. Please keep this in mind as you view the list below, as I have retained it in the order as we know it today! You will note that months and days are mostly based on the names of various pagan god’s or their attributes, etc, and what does our YaHVaH Elohim say so clearly?

“You shall have no other gods before Me.” Shemos - Exodus 20:3 & Davarim - Deuteronomy 5:7.

This does include having any association with them in any way whatsoever, yet, amazingly it was the church that enforced this pagan calendar upon us, when we could be living on a very simple day’s 1 to 7 basis, the Scriptural calendar, the one our loving Saviour lived by!

Months:

English & Latin:

January - Ianuarius: This month is named after the pagan god of Janus, the ruler of beginnings and the protector of entrances, doorways, gates and arches. I am sure we all remember the days of the great processions of armies with the king at the head would proceed through the cities great Arch and the king would pray to Janus to make it a triumphant entrance and a spectacular display and make him look a great and mighty king!

February - Februarius: This month was named for the female goddess Februa and is directly related to sexual purification festival.

March - Martius: This month is more obvious as it is named after the war deity Mars. It is from this god’s name, the word “march” came about, and armies have marched off to war for centuries! Thank you Mars!

April - Aprilis: The month of Venus was also called Aprillis that originated from the Greek Aphro, being a shorter form of Aphrodite, the Greek fertility goddess. This was the main month of what was considered by these pagans as the “Great Mother Earth” who was also known by other names. She the earth mother was “fertilised” on a SUNday, or day of the SUN, after the Vernal (Venus) Equinox. This SUNday was called Ishtar and amazingly, you will be surprised to learn that it is on the very same SUNday every year as today’s Easter (Ishtar) SUNday! There is much more, but that is for another study! The love goddess Venus, which Julius Caesar claimed was his ancestor. Venus embodied sex, beauty, enticement, seduction, and persuasive female charm among the community of immortal gods. Venus was offered official cult in certain festivals of the Roman calendar. Her sacred month was April or Mensis Aprilis in Latin. April fool to them!

May - Maia Maiestas: This month is named after the Roman fertility goddess Maia, who is also referred to as “majesty,” or “maiestas” in Latin.

June - Juno: This month is named after an important female goddess Juno, who was the wife as well as being the sister of Jupiter. She was known to the Greeks as “Hera.”

July - Julius: This month is more obvious as it was dedicated to he who was considered to be a god, the son of the Sun god; I am speaking of course of Julius Caesar! But, the question begs, how could a Pope who claimed to be a “believer” in a “Christos” allow all this, for he clearly knew who and what Caesar was and what he stood for! The calendar proved both the Pope and his church was completely pagan!

August - Augustus: The Latin word Augustus means venerable, awesome and magnificent. It was Gaius Octavius who took on the name of Augustus Caesar and likewise he was also considered as the son of the Sun god!

September - Septem: This is a word that simply means 7, for in the Julian Calendar it was the 7th.month and March the first. That calendar only had ten months, thus January and February was only officially added with the Gregorian Calendar.

October - Octo: Latin for eight, the eighth month of the Romans.

November - Novembris: But, the Latin word for nine was “Novem” and this was the ninth month of the Romans.

December - Decembris: Again the Latin word for ten was “Decem” and this was the tenth month of the Romans. It is from the root word of this word the word “decimal” originated.

Days:

Sun-Day - Dies Solis (Day 1): “Dies Solis” means “Day of the Sun” and it has been a day worshipped as far back as the beginnings of ancient Egypt and Babylon as well as the Phoenicians, and Greeks and the Romans. All these pagan worshippers placed the sun above every other of their gods, even though they may have used different names for this deity. Here are just some of the names that you may have read or have heard! Baal, Shamash, Ahura-Mazda, Dogon, Krishna, Amon-Ra, Anton, Woden (Odin), Zeus, Deus, as well as the Druid/Teutonic “God.” You may well recall that all the Pharaohs and Caesar’s were worshipped as sun gods. Thus to them this day belongs to the sun, and it has nothing to do with our blessed Messiah.

But many will retort, but our Saviour was raised and came out of the tomb on a Sunday Morning! Let me ask you this; “Are you 100% sure that you have made a Scriptural statement there, or was it merely made from what you have been taught, or from tradition?” I know, that it was certainly not from the Scriptures, for it is very, very clear, that Messiah had already risen long before the morning had come! And how can I be so sure of that, well I can even tell you when he came out of the tomb, the very same hour that he was placed in the tomb, but precisely “Three days and Three nights” later! It does not take much to work out that he was placed into the tomb only just before sunset on the fourth Day, which we now call Wednesday, meaning he walked out of the tomb just before sunset on Saturday toward the end of the Sabbath, for He is “The Lord of the Sabbath.” Early in the morning when the woman arrived whist it was still dark they found the tomb empty and Yahushua was nowhere to be seen, until? You may ask, “But brother, how are you so sure of your reasoning?” Beloved, Yahushua told us Himself and He was very clear about it. It is just that we all ignore His statements and listen to preachers who take the Word out of its context to suit their own needs or tradition for they have no choice. Sadly tradition and teachings that has been drummed into religion is so hard to break, and remember Catholicism is still in all churches, like it or not! Thus Messiah did not rise on the First day of the sun god! The Catholic Encyclopaedia on the topic of “Sunday” states the following:

“Tertullian (202 AD) is the first writer who expressly mentions the Sunday rest: ‘We, however (just as tradition has taught us), on the day of the Lord’s Resurrection ought to guard not only against kneeling, but every posture and office of solicitude, deferring even our businesses lest we give any place to the devil’” From the article: “Sunday” The Catholic Encyclopaedia.

When we think about this, it was not until 202 AD, and that is more that 170 years after the death, burial, and resurrection of our beloved Messiah Yahushua, praised Him!

Although Sunday has been spoken of and some practiced it, it had never been part of the churches official doctrine, for that only occurred when the sun worshipping murderous Emperor Constantine came about. Some believe that he was a “Christian” however the facts prove quite otherwise, for he remained a worshipper of Isis and Mithra the sun deity all of his life, yet he instituted this day to be the official “Sol Invictus Mitras - the unconquerable sun Mitras.” Thus in 321 he decreed that Dies Solis would be the new day of rest and that came under the penalty of death if it was not upheld. He called the new Sabbath “the venerable day of the sun.” Thus like the creator of this calendar here we find another satanically led man, who has completely inspired the entire world and the church, who simply will not question man made laws, for they are followers of men, and not of the Creator of Heaven and Earth, nor of He who came and gave His perfect life freely in order that we might be saved and enter the “Kingdom of Elohim!”

Mon-day - Mona (Day 2): This is the day of the Moon to all the Romans, “Lunae Dies.” In the old English was known as “Monan Deag” as it was translated from the Latin, because obviously “Mona” means “moon.” Dios you realise that the Word “month” or “Moonth” comes from the word “mona” being the 29.5 day of the orbital cycle. However, this second weekday as it was dedicated to the moon. The moon was identified with Artemis (Diana) and in various cults the moon was the “eyes of heaven.”

Tues-day - Teutates (Day 3): This is the “day of Try,” or the “day of Tiu” being a Teutonic Druid-Celtic deity of war. However, it has more ancient background and this god was loved by the Roman’s as well. They would rejoice on the day we know today as Tuesday when a victory after a war, and later this very day became better known as the festival of “Mardi Gras” in and around Europe. It was also known as “Fat Tuesday” for “Mardi Gras” was certainly a feast of debauchery and I do mean in many more ways than one, and it had become a feast unto the pagan god of “Mars.” Tragically that feast is still upheld in Germanic countries and they use witches and satanic symbols, but, believe it or not, this is a now Roman Catholic feast. Well to be truthful, it is not a surprise at all, for it is the church of Satan after all! In addition these days it is also celebrated by another group of men and females who have a preference for their own sex, and as we are beginning to learn, gay marriage is slowly being legalised by many governments worldwide, May YHVH Elohim forgive them or wipe them from the earth forever!

Wednes-Day - Woden (Day 4): Again, here we see yet another pagan god in play in our calendar. Woden Odin was also greatly honoured by the Romans, as were so many of the northern god’s. The Romans would also honour Mercury on this day, thus this mid-week day was very important to both the Northern druids as well as the Romans. The druids would come together at night, make a circle and they would chant, cast spells and they would do this whilst surrounding a burning the symbol of Woden, the burning cross.

Please Note: Sadly most people seem to think that Messiah was placed on a Cross, but He was not, it was a Stake, a Tree and that is what the Scripture very clearly states, for nowhere in the Greek does it ever say Cross! Remember, would YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, allow His blessed Son be placed on a pagan symbol and then have His followers uphold it as a symbol of their faith. No never, sadly that was introduced once more by man, not the Word of the Almighty, and people usually prefer to follow man and tradition rather than their Heavenly Father, and by doing that, there is a good chance of being led right into error. Do you have a cross in your church, or have one your self? Get rid of it, for it belongs to Satan and it is his tool and part of the error of Romanism, just like this pagan calendar!

Thurs-Day - Thor (Day 5): This is the deity of thunder and the son of Woden and his wife Frigga. The same as Taranus, Thor was also associated with “Donder,” (meaning thunder) being the German reindeer of Santa. The Romans always honoured Jupiter on this day that was originally Iu-Pitar, a “Jovis Father.” WE need to understand that “Jove” is directly related to Zeus and the altar of Zeus that is used at every Olympic Games is shaped in the form of a capital “T” for 1. Thor, but as Thor’s emblem was also the Hammer, which was interpreted as the letter “T,” thus both matched perfectly. However, the altar in symbolism also looked back to Tammuz, the son of Nimrod!

Fri-day - Frigga (Day 6): “Frigga” is the name of the wife of Woden and in the old English this day was called Frigga Deag. She came with the concept of fertility thus the Greeks celebrated Aphrodite on this very day, whist the Romans praised and worshipped Venus (Astarte). This day was also the Egyptian day of Isis that was always depicted with a fish on her head.

Please Note: The fish symbol pre-dates the Egyptians as it came from the evil pagan Philistines (today’s Palestine) who worshipped Dagon (Judges 16:23 and 1 Samuel 5:2). “Dag” is Hebrew for “Fish” and the Latin is Pisces. It was chosen by the pagans because a female fish lays hundreds and even thousands of eggs, being a symbol of fertility! Frigga’s emblem was also a “FISH” it was because of her that the Romans decided to eat fish on this day – “Frigga’s Day” and it had nothing to do with our beloved Messiah Yahushua, nor does the so-called “Christian Symbol of the FISH” which is entirely pagan! There is much more to this day and the mysteries of the evil of its meanings, but what I have given is sufficient for now!

Sutur-Day - Saturn (Day 7): This is the day dedicated to Saturn, the deity of agriculture, corresponding with the Greek god of Cronus. This was one of the major days within the Greek and Roman weeks for at the end of the Roman year on this day there would be a huge party at the Solstice, Saturnalia. This day was also called Sater Daeg and it is thus unmistakably linked to other Greco-Roman mythology.

We may ask ourselves: “So many of the months and days are obviously directly related to pagan deities, yet the great and mighty Pope of Rome, yes, he the so-called great Pope Gregory XIII and his satanic Roman Catholic Church gave our world a gift of a Calendar that is 100% pagan. In fact, this evil man was so proud of this obviously satanic version that he allowed it to be named after and that is why it is known as the (Pope) “Gregorian Calendar.” That is why he will be cursed and will face the “second death when he faces the great day of Judgement!

But having read all the above you may ask yourself, what has the world got itself into, why have we allowed all this and not stopped it? Well beloved, let me tell you, for in our daily life we are to follow the calendar we have, we are simply stuck with it, however, as true believers in YaHVaH Elohim and Yahushua the Messiah, we will not uphold it in our spiritual life, for we follow the calendar that Messiah upheld and that is the same calendar Israel has to this very day. We obviously keep ALL of the 10 Commandments especially that important one, the fourth commandment, being the Seventh Day Sabbath!

Remember that both Yahushua and the Apostles kept the blessed Sabbath Day as did the faithful for hundreds of years and they were murdered for doing so by Constantine and by the churches during the Inquisition and later by the Lutheran’s, etc. Let us look at what “the Lord of the Sabbath” had to say, and please remember who the Word really is for He is spoken of in Yochanan – John 1:1-3!

“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it sanctified. Six days you shall labour and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to YHVH your Elohim. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the stranger within your gates. For in six days YHVH made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but He rested on the seventh day. Therefore YHVH blessed the Sabbath day and He sanctified it.” Shemos - Exodus 20:8-11.

“Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it sanctified, as YHVH your Elohim has commanded you. Six days you shall labour and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to YHVH your Elohim. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor the stranger within your gates so that your manservant and maidservant may rest, as you do. Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that YHVH your Elohim brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore YHVH your Elohim has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.” Davarim - Deuteronomy 5:12-15.

Thus we, who are the “Little Flock” of believers in Messiah Yahushua upholds the spiritual calendar, thus the seventh day as well as the feasts as ordained by YHVH and upheld by Messiah and the apostles and the faithful throughout their lives! More on this in Part Two.

Part Two

The Spiritual New Year and Calendar

“YHVH said to Moshe, “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the first (day) of the seventh month you shall have a Sabbath), a memorial of blowing (silver Trumpets and/or the Shofar a rams horn), a sanctified convocation. You shall do no servile work on this day, but present an offering made to YHVH by fire.’” Vayikra - Leviticus 23:23-25.

This day scripturally is “Yom Te’Ruach” the Day of the Blowing” and it represents the blowing of the silver trumpets of redemption, as well as the more humble hollow rams horn the much loved Shofar. Obviously this feast like all of the feasts have a decisive prophetic meaning, but all that is clearly set out in the comprehensive studies entitled; “The Feasts of YHVH.”

Within the Jewish community this same day is known as “Rosh Hashanah”, being the Jewish New Year, however it should be noted that even in the scriptures it is only the civil new year, for it is related to the relevant harvest. Originally Tishri, now as we know being the seventh month, was originally the first month of the year. But at the time when YHVH Elohim, blessed be His sanctified Name, redeemed Israel from slavery out of Egypt He declared that what was the seventh month Nissan would now be the first month, this the spiritual New Year, and Tishri became the seventh month, the civil New Year!

It is interesting to note that four feasts have been fulfilled to date: 1 The Lamb of Elohim who was without spot and blemish, which was kept in the house (Jerusalem) for four days. 2: He gave His life and shed His blood that they may be redeemed, and no bone was broken! He rose again three days and three nights after having been laid into the tomb! 50 days after the Sabbath as the first day commenced was the “Feast of Weeks” and Israel arrived at Mt Sinai where 3000 Israelites died because of sin. However, at the outpouring on the Feast of Weeks 3000 Hebrews were saved as Shime’on ben Yochanan (called Peter by the church) had shared the Word under the guidance of the Ruach HaKodesh – Sanctified Spirit! Thus Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits and Feast of Weeks (incorrectly called Pentecost) have all been fulfilled. Thus the next feast will be Yom Te’Ruach!

Then a week later Yom Kippur, and finally Sukkot! Translated that is “Yom” speaks about a set day, and Te’Ruach means will be when the trumpet will be blown.

Then a week later it speaks about a completely new day, not the same day as so many have it, but it is another day! The Day of “Kippur”, have you heard that term before? Many Jews and even sadly Messianic believers wear it on their heads, it is also known as a yarmulke, a skullcap! But the Hebrew word really means “Covering” and this is the day of Messiah’s Second Coming, for beloved He is our “Covering, our Kippur”! HalleluYAH.

The last feast is like the first feast as it has two parts, seven days plus one, whereas Passover is One day plus seven days and that is the difference, and that makes up eight days and when you read the Feast Studies you will learn the significance of “8”!

Sukkot or Tabernacles represents the millennium reign of our Messiah, but then, blessed be YHVH, there is the wonderful and most blessed “Eighth Day” that YaHVaH Elohim gave us, and this is a high Sabbath day, a day that every single person of the greater church just ignores like a bad smell, for yet the Eighth Day is the most blessed of feast days that has been prophesised, because it represents the NEW Heaven and the New Earth, when we will see the NEW Jerusalem!

Beloved, when say “we”, I do mean all who worship the Name of YaHVaH Elohim and Yahushua the Messiah for “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other Name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12.
