to Check Your Moral Compass?

Time to Check Our “Moral Compass”
It is just amazing how easy it is to
become so caught up with the countless distractions the world presents these
days! If we would check Psalm 109, verse 105 we will find that is says the
following;
“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Psalms 119:105.
The blessed Scriptures also tell us;
“
Introduction:
Friends, as the author, I will share
this short Word study in love, even though it will cover the odd sensitive
areas, but it is has been carefully covered in prayer, for it is our sincere
desire to see blessing where blessing is due and above all restoration, where
restoration with our beloved Lord and Saviour is required! Alternatively, for
those who are part of the faithful, may this be a blessed little study! Above
all, we desire to see your Compass needle aiming in the Right Direction!
Elohim’s
Word - A Pathfinder:
The blessed Scriptures as shown at
the top of this page, I pray have set the tone to this short guide on how to
check our Moral Compass. Beloved, YaHVaH Elohim (the LORD God), blessed be His Sanctified Name, is
without a doubt our pathfinder, very much like a Compass that will guide us in
which direction we should be heading in!
But there are times where we have
gone Off-Course, be it due to outside influences or even due to internal
problems, or worse still, it could also be due to selfish wants and therefore
we begin to live according to our own desires, understanding and ways. Of
course friends, therein lays the source of the problem, for you would have been
living in the; I, Me and Myself, and there we can clearly
see the source of our problems in our spiritual lives!
I am sure that you will understand
that I am using the compass as an analogy to our lives and how we live it,
especially when it comes to living it in faith in the loving Saviour, whose
actual Name is “Messiah Yahushua” the very same name as that of he
we know as Joshua in the Old Covenant, and he was also named Yahushua in the
New Covenant. Just check the Strongs Concordance; and you will find that he who
took over from Moshe- Moses and led the Children of Israel into the “Land
of Milk and Honey” and encircled Jericho blowing their trumpets, was
Yahushua (Joshua) who had
the very same Name of our Lord and Saviour in the New Covenant, Yet one was give
by certain so-called wise men a name which sounded very similar to the
original, but our Saviour was given a foreign and sadly even a pagan name!
However beloved, my prayer is that
if we are truly prayerful and in our heart and soul desire to know Him in
Spirit and in Truth, that we will come to know the fullness of
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim (God), and the Word
was Elohim He was in the beginning with Elohim. All things were made through
Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the
life was the light of men.” Yochanan -
We should always remember that
Elohim and He Who is “the Word” are ONE, for the Word was the
creator! “All things were made through Him (the 
Once we come into His loving
presence through faith and repentance and live accordance to His will, Elohim
will lovingly guide us in His paths and also in making wise decisions!
However, the truth is that the ways
of the world and its harmful associations and worldly distractions are like a
magnet or a piece of Iron, that tends to pull us in the wrong direction, but
worse still it may well distract our spiritual judgement!
The power of the magnet and iron can
be so strong, and if we let it they can even pull us away from loving and
worshipping our Lord to the point that we may stop living in His will!
We have to be completely honest
here, for these distractions can be many things, as well as bad choices with
associations! For many poor choices could well lead us on a path of vanity,
lust, greed and even sex and drugs and all this will distract a person from
Elohim’s way of life and His loving Word of truth, and thus repentance is
needed!
Beloved, the truth is this; If
you really love your Heavenly Father and Messiah Yahushua, who gave His life in
order that you may have life, with all of your heart and your soul, then I
believe that that we should do everything in our power to avoid the
distractions we have just read about above! This it is vital that we should
spend as much time as is possible in reading and studying the blessed
Scriptures, the Word, as well as have time in prayer and seek the Father in the
Name of Yahushua for guidance regarding our life, and we should always avoid
the wrong people or compromising situations that could pull you off the right
path by throwing our “Moral Compass” off course. The Scriptures
clearly states;
“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what
fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light
with darkness? And what accord has Messiah with
Teach me Your way, O YHVH. I will walk in Your truth.
UNITE MY HEART TO FEAR YOUR NAME!”
