- YHVH, which is pronounced as YaHVaH
or YaHWaH. In addition we will also use our Heavenly Father’s
attribute/title, which is Elohim rather than “God,” which
sadly is the name of a pagan god. In addition we also love to use the actual
and real Name of our beloved Messiah which is 
- Yahushua or Yahshua in short, for
this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him at birth in
Study - Part Two
Introduction:
As we commence Part Two of “Lessons in
the Wilderness” I pray that we have prepared ourselves in prayer and
asked our Heavenly Father in Messiah’s blessed Name that He will give us
discernment and understanding in order that we may grow in His beloved Word.
But more so that we will become stronger in faith and closer to Him in spirit
and in truth! HalleluYah!
The next two paragraphs come directly from Part
One as
The spies had returned with the samples of the
giant and delicious fruits. WOW, just one look was enough to convince
Beloved, Israel who had seen the great power
of the Almighty from the day the Tabernacle was completed for a pillar of smoke
rose from its roof during the day and fire by night, ensuring that the Children
of Israel would know that He was with them, in addition, He provided them with
manna six days a week, but they had to collect twice the amount on Friday to
cover for the Sabbath! But after the “twelve men of you, one of a
tribe” having returned from their journey into the land of promise and
having seen the wondrous fruits and the goodness of the land, sadly they came
back full of fear of other things they had seen! It is sad to learn that fear
had stuck not only them but they allowed it to run wild!
Davarim – Deuteronomy One verse 27:
“And you murmured in your tents,
and said, Because YHVH hated us, He hath brought us forth out of the
Having read this verse it is tragic knowing
what the Almighty had already done for
“…as
you look forward to the day of Elohim
and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the
heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with
His promise we are looking forward to
a New Heaven and a New Earth, the home of righteousness. So then, dear
friends, since you are looking forward
to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with
Him.” 2 Shimeon - 2
Therefore for people of Israel at the border
of Kadesh Barnea to “murmur” is without a doubt one of the most
tragic statements I have found in the entire Scriptures, considering all that
our Heavenly Father had already done for the Children of Israel. We know from
the Word, that He chose a babe who He had hidden amongst the reeds in the
Verses 29 & 30 more states the
following:
“Then I said to you; ‘Do not be terrified or afraid of them. YHVH your Elohim, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes and in the wilderness where you saw how YHVH your Elohim carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.’”
With Israel having being sustained with
victories over the enemies including whilst in the wilderness, as well as being
provided with never ending sustenance and water and so much more, thus
considering what YaHVaH Elohim, Sanctified be His Name, had done, yet Israel at
large could still not see that He would go before them and open the way, that
is if they would only obey Him!
And that beloved is the key for each and
everyone of us, for if we are called into His service and are sent to a place
that we may not particularly like or even considered to be dangerous, fear not
for if it is His will, always remember that “YHVH your Elohim who goes
before you” and He has already prepared the way for you. Therefore
all you have to do is to be obedient and trust “YHVH your Elohim has
carried you” this far, for He will reward your faith in Him! Praise
His most Sanctified Name in Yahushua’s blessed Name!
In Verse 31, we read again:
“In the wilderness where you saw how YHVH your Elohim carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.”
Yet tragically it continues in verse 32 that
“Yet, for all that, you did not believe YHVH your Elohim”
and thus all those sins along the way and at this point here at
Beloved, I hear many speak of sadness and
depression. I pray that if any have experienced this or even suffer it, please
put it in the hand of Messiah Yahushua, for He will guide you into the right
place! We must understand that depression leads to looking back into the self
and the past, and no matter what has happened, let it be for that is not what
the Almighty has for you! The
“… but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of Elohim in Messiah Yahushua.” Philippians 3:13-14.
Praise Yahushua, He is our goal, thus
“forget those things that are behind” and do not allow “Satan
who leads the whole world astray” (Revelation12:9) to have control over
your life for let Messiah Yahushua be Master and Saviour of your life now and
forever, and I do mean “Yahushua, the Name above every name!”
Beloved, there is no Saviour by any other name! The fact is beloved, that the
Name Yahushua and Joshua are the same name, just check the Strongs Hebrew/Greek
Concordance numbers: Joshua in the Old Covenant is = OT3091 in the New Covenant
= NT 2424 and Jesus = NT2424. Both have the identical name, which is in the
Hebrew - “Yahushua!” meaning, “YAH Saves.” Praise Him!
It is time we return to the Israelites in
the wilderness, although I must be honest sometimes
I tend to call the “Israelites” the “Grizzelites” which
is a word in my part of the world (Australia) that really means those who
grumble a great deal! And as we read the Word it does seem like a never-ending
fight between the Father and those who seem to refuse to obey Him!
Some may attack me for having said this, but
in a way I can say it, considering that as a Hebrew I was redeemed back in 1977!
Davarim – Deuteronomy One verse 37:
“YHVH was also angry with me for your sakes, saying, ‘Even you shall not go in there.’”
How tragic, because of the great disobedience
of the people
However, we should feel for Moshe as he is now
120 years of age and has spent his old age wandering in the wilderness, all
because of the ongoing disobedience of the Children of Israel, and yes even his
own brother back there at Mt Sinai! Now, he simply could not go on for very
soon the end of the road would come for him as he would have to die in the
wilderness up on a mountain. But the story does not quite end here!
Emancipation, Separation and Possession:
Did you realise that combined in Part One and
already so far in this Part we have covered three very powerful words, the first
two “Emancipation” - “Separation” was in
the past and it brought on the tragedy of looking back. But now arrives the
final word of this trio of words and this one is “Possession.”
Way back in verse 8 was a direct order by the Almighty as He told
“Behold I have set the land before you: go in and posses the land.”
There is no doubt about it that the
implication is - Go and Obey! But as you will have gathered I
continually see the believers in Messiah in the Word and how these same three
words actually apply to us, for beloved believe me they do!
Let us commence with the very first word;
“Emancipation” and beloved this “liberation,”
“setting free” is something that can only come from YaHVaH Elohim,
but then it must be through righteousness and faith in the Father and His
anointed Messiah, Yahushua in a past tense, thus we must “Believe.”
The second word is; “Separation”
and this was when we saw
The same applies to the faithful, for we also
can be “separated” from that world of sin, through
“redemption” and “repenting” in the blessed “Name
above every name,” the Name of Yahushua our beloved Messiah and Saviour!”
The third word is; “Possession”
once
Yes, once the faithful have repented and live
according to the teachings of the Messiah, and beloved I say this for
believe me His teachings are very much opposed to that of the churches as they
have gone into an ancient Babylonian/Greco/Roman pagan religion with messianic
overtones! But Yahushua’s teaching may well surprise you for they say
quite the opposite to what pastors and priests will teach you, and who will you
trust, men or your Saviour, for it is there in black and white!
In Messiah, we can take “Possession”
of life that is in the present and be obedient to Messiah, by being fully
immersed in water and receive a life-giving power from the

However, having looked at those three words;
Emancipation, Separation and Possession does it not remind you of the story I
told in Part One of Lot, for him, his wife and his daughters were in many ways
disobedient to YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, for 1.
Emancipation - They refused to leave, that the men (angels) had to lead them
out of the city. 2. Separation - When they were out,
Beloved, remember these three words for they
are very important in your life!
Davarim – Deuteronomy One verse 38-39:
“
Here Elohim gives very clear instructions that

Having heard this suddenly the Children of
Israel seemed to have a complete change of heart No YaHVaH we will go, please
let us go into the land and we will fight! But now it is far too late as
we will see;
Verses 41-42:
“Then you answered and said to me,
‘We have sinned against YHVH; we will go up and fight, just as YHVH
our Elohim commanded us.’ And when every one of you had girded on his
weapons of war, you were ready to go up into the mountain. And YHVH said to me,
‘Tell them,’ ‘Do not go up nor fight, for I am not among
you; lest you be defeated before your enemies.’”
You see beloved, it seems that
Verses 43 to 45:
“So I spoke to you; yet you would not
listen, but rebelled against the command of YHVH and presumptuously went up
into the mountain. And the Amorites who dwelt in that mountain came out against
you and chased you as bees do, and drove you back from Seir to Hormah.
Then you returned and wept before YHVH, but YHVH would not listen to your voice
nor give ear to you.”
Tragically they went, in a way like an army of
cranky children who had an argument with their Father, but they would show Him
what they could do by themselves! They were going to win this battle for had
they not always won every war, the truth is that Israel never won a war, for
each battle was won with the assistance of YaHVaH and this time they went
directly against His will and command “not to go up nor fight”
therefore He would not be with them in battle! It states in verse 44 that
“the Amorites chased Israel as bees do” (Paraphrased) thus can you
imagine an army so placed that they are all over you just like a swarm of bees,
and we know how bad that can be and that is why it was written here, for the
Israelites were so badly smitten that they wept before their Heavenly Father
but He would not listen to them, for they were completely disobedient and were
not repentant in their weeping just crying in their pains!
The concluding verse of Chapter One verse
46:
“So you remained in Kadesh many days,
according to the days that you spent there.”
Thus here they remained due to their
sinfulness, which is such a tragedy, but beloved Lot’s wife, and Lot
himself was redeemed, saved from that place of horrid evil and sin, yet she
could not leave the past behind and lost her salvation, her life!
Yet, the Almighty sent them a man, Moshe who
miraculously was saved from the water as a babe, lived for 40 years as an
Egyptian prince, then as a lowly shepherd until called by YaHVaH Elohim to Mt
Sinai and sent back to the Pharaoh to redeem His people. And then Moshe led
In Conclusion:
What Lessons Have we Learned?
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for
without Me you can do nothing. If
anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and
they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask
what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified,
that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” Yochanan -
“I Am the vine” that is our Master and Saviour Yahushua, Blessed be His Name! He is our provision a far greater one than that earlier saviour of the Children of Israel, Moshe – Moses who was only a part redeemer, but he was certainly not without sin, for when he was at Meribah he sinned, and believe me, it had nothing to do with him striking the rock with his rod. But you need to read the study below that!
Yahushua was the Lamb of YaHVaH Elohim without spot and blemish and He did not sin in any shape or form! Some will say that He was rather rude at some times, however He said what was needed to be said to those who were followers of evil and would not follow the ways as given in The Word! In the Tanach, the Old Covenant, just read Yeshayahu – Isaiah, Yirmyahu – Jeremiah and the prophet Eliyahu - Elijah and you will find that much the same was said to all those who were against YaHVaH Elohim. In fact it makes what our beloved Messiah said very mild!
The creator from the very beginning gave man laws of all that he was able to do and that was just about everything possible, but there was only one single thing in Adams entire universe as he knew it that he was not permitted to do: and that was NOT to eat the fruit of that tree!
And the YHVH Elohim commanded the man, saying, ‘Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.’” Bereshis - Genesis 2:16-17.
We all know the story,
Will we come back to our Saviour, or end up in
the wilderness? But we are saved you say, Once saved always saved, that is what
we are clearly taught! Let me ask you, who was it that gave you that teaching?
It was that man who nailed his thesis to the church door and this is the same
man, Martin Luther who wrote his last book entitled; “Von den Juden
und Ihren Lügen”
Will you place your faith in the hands of a
man who is hailed as a saint by so many, just forget that he was a “Jew
hater” and directed his followers to go and slaughter innocent Jewish
children, I suppose that must be all right for the “Christian
cause!” Well not in our Saviour Yahushua’s cause for
Beloved as Yochanan -
Beloved nothing has changed, for we are to retain our relationship with our Elohim and Yahushua by doing what He so clearly told us to do when He was with us on the earth, “keep my commandments.”
“I tell you the truth, until heaven and
earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will
by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone
who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the
same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and
teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
Mattityahu -
“In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. He was in the beginning with
Elohim. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that
was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” Yochanan -
Looking at the two verses above, it becomes
obvious who gave the Laws up on Mount Sinai in the first place it was YaHVaH
Elohim, who is the Word, the Word that became our Messiah Yahushua! And He
clearly said that “not the least stroke of a pen will by any means
disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” And of
course beloved that is until after the Seventh Feast of YHVH (Tabernacles) when
on the “Eighth Day”, which is a very special Sabbath and event,
will be time for the New Heaven and New Earth with a New Jerusalem and mighty
Beloved, Sunday is not the Scriptural day of
rest, it is the Seventh-day that is the Scriptural Sabbath Day, it was the church
of Rome that changed it as it was a day to worship not the Son of Elohim, but
the sun god! We need to understand that SUNday

Thus beloved, I pray that just this one example will have you returning and choosing Yahushua THE Messiah instead of all those erroneous teachings that you may have been used to in the churches, such as, “Once Saved Always Saved” that is as clearly proved in the Scriptures through the Words of Messiah a clear lie, let alone it coming from a man who had a very evil mind and even sought to murder the Children of Israel!
In the Book of Obadiah it speaks
of
“The day of YHVH is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.” Verse 15
Beloved, in Yahushua is our
If you decide to remain with the name of Jesus, I am afraid that you will either remain at Kadesh Barnea, or in the Wilderness, but I am sad to say that there will be no place for you on that day when He comes; “with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of Elohim.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18), but sadly those who remain with the greater churches will not be able to; “comfort one another with these words.”
Can or Should we Seek a Reward?
The answer is quiet simple, yes we should, in fact Yahushua demands that we seek it! But who will give the reward? Elohim or men, it is your choice, and your choice will determine the outcome, Choose Messiah Yahushua you will have chosen the Creators way and you will be richly blessed! But choose the way of the church and a false religion that is sadly based on a great deal of paganism, with some twisted truth sprinkled in you will head, I am so sorry to say for the pit!
Why does Elohim Offer a Reward?
1.
LOOK – We are to read and search His Word for what
YHVH Elohim and Yahushua had told us, be it in the Old or New Covenants!
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find”
(Mattityahu -

RUN – We shall be blessed by Elohim whilst we run
the race heading “for the prize”: “One thing I do, forgetting
those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are
ahead, I
press toward the goal for the prize of the
upward call of Elohim in Messiah Yahushua.”
3.
CONSCIENTIOUSNESS - We must be able to stand strong and
continue in our faith and uphold the teachings that were given to us by
“Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Yahushua as the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the stake/tree despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim.” Hebrews 12:1-2.
4. SUFFER - Yes, it is
often difficult to stand strong because of your faith in Messiah Yahushua and
your refusal not to uphold those ancient evil satanic pagan festivals that are
based on pagan gods such as the goddess “Eastra”, thus
“Easter” with all those fertility rabbits and eggs, for they
represent her “moon egg that she laid! Then there is what is now called
Christmas, which is in reality, if you will only look it up something very
evil, but the
“… and if children, then heirs - heirs of Elohim and joint heirs with Messiah, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
Conclusion:
We could well ask ourselves, can we possibly know what the reward will be? Numbers are important, 7 and 40 are two of the most vital numbers of the entire Scriptures and I have spoken much about the number 40, and it being a generation, etc! But what about that wonderful number of 7, there are 7 days in a week and we are to work, or “toil” for 6 of these and “… on the seventh day He rested from all His work. And Elohim blessed the Seventh Day and sanctified it.” Bereshis - Genesis 2:2-3.
However, I can tell you in short, that the Seven Rewards are; The 7 Rs! 1. Responsibility; 2. Riches; 3. Rest; 4. Rejoicing; 5. Radiance; 6. Renown and finally 7. Royalty as you will be wearing a crown!
Now I have given you something to look for in the blessed Scriptures, for you will find each of the seven rewards, or blessings that will be given to the faithful who know the Name of the Father YaHVaH Elohim and the Messiah Yahushua our blessed Saviour, who gave His life that we who believe, have repented of our sins and been immersed in water in His Name and now live according to His Word, we will have the promise of entering into the Millennium Reign with Yahushua and then when You Father, have created the New Heaven and the New Earth that all the faithful will have our place there. We give You Thanks and Praise in Yahushua’s most wonderful name!
