we prefer to use the actual Name of our loving Heavenly Father as it was
written in the Word, and thus you will note that we will use the Four
Letter “Memorial Name” of
- YHVH,
which is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH. In addition we will also
use our Heavenly Father’s attribute/title, which is Elohim rather
than “God,” which sadly is the name of a pagan god. In addition we
also love to use the actual and real Name of our beloved Messiah which
is
- Yahushua or Yahshua in short, for
this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him at birth in
By our Ministry Associate Teacher
What would it feel like to stand beside Yahushua our blessed Redeemer and to see and feel the glory that emanates from Him. As we will soon discover as we continue on our journey of life there are two kinds of people and depending on the way they conduct their lives there will be two very different kinds of outcomes!
The first kind of outcome will be because of obedience and having produced fruit in Messiah Yahushua during their lives in Him, whilst the other’s will have no spiritual fruit’s whatsoever, for they were living in the flesh, seeking worldly pursuits, following the riches of life that will sadly lead to death and they will not receive the reward of immortality that is offered by our beloved Messiah.
“The hour has come for the Son of Man to
be glorified. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the
ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces
many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates
his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves Me must
follow Me; and where I am, My servant also will be. My Father will honour the
one who serves Me.” Yochanan -
We may ask, “What does this Glory mean when we read it in the scripture?” If we strive to do well in this life, recognition and encouragement is important for doing something for others. This in turn will help yourself to become a better person and this should be a reward in itself!
Can you imagine if we placed even 10% of our
efforts in our pursuit’s of business, making money, and spending a great
deal of time on social and other pleasures and redirected energy into the
pursuit of seeking His will! Well I can tell you, this world will never seem
the same again through your eyes, because
When I read Yochanan - John 12:23-36 we have come to the end of Yahushua’s ministry. His obedience, faith and works have produced the outcome of the last obedient act of the servant, offering the only thing He has left, to lay down His life for the sin of man!
Giving into the flesh of our desires all the time without placing boundaries on us produces defeat and loss of potential in what we could become. On the other hand, the one who serves and who knows the will of His beloved Master and accomplishes the work of the Father is beloved of Him. We need to overcome that which holds us back all of the time, which is our own flesh, our families, and our friends.
Our glory lies in the kernel of wheat to produce much fruit. But the wheat kernel is not alone at the time of its ripening. A kernel is a wheat seed. There are about 50 kernels in a head of wheat. One kernel of wheat can grow several hundred new kernels at the next harvest.
So you see when Yahushua talks of it dying and producing many seeds He talks of the head of wheat that has 50 kernels within it, the head of wheat is you and me. To reach this the plant needs to be fertilized, watered and grown directly in the sun, as YaHVaH is the Creator of light and Yahushua is the source, the water of everlasting life, thus;
“… let him who thirsts come.
Whoever desires let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17.
As we will drink from the very best of water, the seed also requires good water and the seed also needs good and fertile soil. A person needs to be receptive to the Word of YaHVaH Elohim and ready to receive the rich blessing that is available in and through the Messiah! The blessings that comes by following and doing His will influences everyone who comes into contact with those who live in His ever-loving care!
Did you know that Messiah Yahushua speaks so little about the “other kernels,” therefore, what is not said is that there is another 49 kernels in a head of wheat, for they are not included in His teachings in Yochanan - John 12:23-26. The truth is that the other kernels represent those works of the flesh that are both sterile and unproductive! Although the other 49, we might say, are well covered in other teachings of Yahushua, such as the in the parable of the “wheat and the tares,” etc.
But the fact is that it only takes “one kernel” out of 50 from a single head of wheat to do His will!
Therefore, that one kernel represents 1/10 of 1/10. Such a small number!
Let’s commence with a verse that shows
the situation that
“Then YHVH said, ‘The outcry
against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous that I
will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has
reached Me. If not, I will know.” Bereshis - Genesis 18:20-21.
Avraham met three men, who were obviously
angels from the Almighty and they spoke about him having a son in a year, and
Sarai –
But back to Avraham, who felt that it only need “one kernel” to do His will, to achieve something!
“Suppose there were fifty righteous
within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the
fifty righteous that were in it?” Bereshis - Genesis 18:24.
“Then he said, ‘Let not YHVH be
angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found
there?’” Bereshis - Genesis 18:32.
Having read the above we remember that Avraham
was pleading with
“And He said, ‘I will not destroy
it for the sake of ten.’” Bereshis - Genesis 18:32.
So we can see the analogy drawn here, that the faith of the righteous was represented in a single kernel (man) of wheat and how scarce it is to be found amongst men? Therefore, we see how precious this one seed can be and how much it can accomplish, and do His will.
Sadly there are also those who constantly strive to overcome the Spirit of Elohim, by thinking and living in the; “I, Me and Myself,” and refuse to live according to His Word! Failure to comprehend this; means that fleshly thinking produces error and poor discernment. But Elohim’s discernment is also needed for the believers in Messiah, so as not to be contaminated by our own thinking regarding His Word, but to understand and be blessed by the truth of His blessed Word, which is so full of beauty that brings Glory to Him!
Sadly there are two roads, as Tehillim – Psalm 1 so clearly shows and I suggest that you read our short study on Tehillim – Psalm 1, the link is at the bottom of this study, you will find that it is very special!
But know and understand that;
“Do not be afraid, little flock,
for your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom.”
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide
is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter
through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and
only a few will find it.” Mattityahu -
Sadly our Master and Saviour clearly states that the “gate is narrow,” that only the “Little Flock” for the faithful, thus just … “a few will find it.” A few out of countless billions, therefore, how many will that really be? All I can pray is that you the reader will be one of those who are part of the faithful, or as a result of a single kernel of seed sown here or in any of the studies online, that it will grow in you that you may enter the gate of eternal life - please Father!
The precious kernel (the seed) is also wrapped tightly in a binding to the wheat called “chaff.” The chaff has to be thrashed off to expose the kernel to the elements so that it can be planted again. As a believer, we ourselves had to go though this very same painful process, for once, we were lost and we did not want to give up our lives of the self. Moreover, let us be honest, we wish to hold on to our ways of being the chaff, instead of following His way of living. How sad it was for us to understand this, but once we were touched by Him and His loving Spirit, we had to go down on our knees in faith and weep and repent, for suddenly we realised how grievously we had hurt our Saviour, for He had to die for you and for me!
How great and how patient is our Father with us. Praise Him!
Now there is the glory of the world and the
glory in doing the work of
“Yahushua spoke these words, lifted up
His eyes to heaven, and said: ‘Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your
Son, that Your Son also may glorify You.” Yochanan -
“I have glorified You on the earth. I
have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father,
glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before
the world was.” Yochanan -
“And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are
Mine, and I am glorified in them.” Yochanan -
When I think of Glory I think of light wrapping itself around the object of its affection namely our Heavenly Father YaHVaH and Messiah Yahushua.
The presence of time and space are fixed when
it comes to this word. “Glory” and “Glorify,” in Hebrew is “Kavod,”
which is translated as “Doxadzo” in the Greek and is
directly related to the Glory to
However, there is also another root word that
is “Kavdah,” meaning to be “heavy,”
“grievous” (as is the word used at
Thus, what have we learned here? There are two Hebrew words for “Glory.” The one related directly to the Hebrew “Kavod” that applies to YaHVaH and He Who Is THE Word, our Messiah Yahushua!
However, then there is that other one, which is “Kavdah” in Hebrew and it relates very much to the I, Me and Myself, the glory of carnal man!
When I think of the glorification of the self,
I think of people such as
But with him comes many heavy and grievous burdens of his evil power, especially during the second half of the Great Tribulation, that will be inflicted upon others, for he will have the power, and will be taking the glory for his own corrupted glorification, but it will not last! He will sit in the rebuilt temple and erect new images!
“I am YHVH: that is My Name: and My
glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images.”
Yeshayahu - Isaiah 42:8.
Elohim’s glory lies in his capacity to do all things that the idols of men cannot do. The Glory of YaHVaH is His essential reality, which is His alone. As with the word “Holy” or a better word; “Sanctified” or “Set Apart,” the “Glory of YaHVaH” fills the entire earth!
What is distinct about
As I said above, Elohim’s Being is profoundly ethical. Thus, where YaHVaH’s Glory is manifested, there is judgement for sin, for the two cannot exist side by side. The Almighty, the creator of Heaven and Earth and all therein does not reveal Himself to destroy us, but rather to redeem us, and that is His Being the ultimate goal, that is why he sent us He Who is “The Word,” Yahushua;
“In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. … Through Him all
things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.”
Yochanan –
Thus beloved, we have a choice whether
the glory in our lives will come from the “Kavdah” type of
glory, which is grievous and full of disobedience, or the blessed “Kavod”
- “Glory” that is related to faith and obedience
and where you will be whole and saved by the blood of the Passover
Lamb of Elohim! Nevertheless, remember, no matter your choice,
“Now the glory of YHVH rested on
It is interesting to understand that to wait for the expectation of the Messiah to speak with you we must have the ingredients of patience, endurance and understanding not only to recognize this inside of you but to apply it, then to pray for understanding from His perspective. That is why waiting on Him no matter how long it takes is a test of your endurance and loyalty to Him. Then He will call you up to speak with Him and He will answer you!
The Glory of YaHVaH was manifested in a cloud
and was like a devouring fire on the top of
However, for the wicked His Glory consumes
them, burnt in the
“By the same word the present heavens
and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and
destruction of ungodly men.” 2
It says that the Earth and the heavens shall be burned up, because not even the earth wants to be stained with the sin and death of the chaff that was brought upon it by the sin of mankind, and the Heavens because they became ashamed, for man turned away their worship from the True One and substituted it for the worship of the sun and moon, stars, the self, nature and so many other pagan gods.
“Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth,
for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no
more sea. Then I, Yochanan -
His Glory is the brightness reflecting the ultimate goodness and perfection of Our Creator and Messiah. All of nature earns to be re-united with Him. What separates Him from us also unites us in the Messiah’s Glorification!
“The Word became flesh and made His
dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who
came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Yochanan -
“Teach me Your way, O YHVH. I will walk in Your truth.
UNITE MY HEART TO FEAR YOUR NAME!”
May YHVH Elohim bless and keep you in the palm of
His hand always, in Messiah Yahushua’s loving Name!
