-Please Read this FIRST- On this site we prefer to use the actual Name of our loving Heavenly Father as it was written in the Word, and thus you will note that we will use the Four Letter “Memorial Name” of   - YHVH, which is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH. In addition we will also use our Heavenly Father’s attribute/title, which is Elohim rather than “God,” which sadly is the name of a pagan god. In addition we also love to use the actual and real Name of our beloved Messiah which is  - Yahushua or Yahshua in short, for this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him at birth in Lukas - Luke 1:31. This was the only Name ever used when He was on the earth by His family, disciples and His followers OVER THE centuries, even until today! However, it was changed to a foreign name by the founder of the new “pagan church of Rome.” Occasionally, we may also use other Hebrew or Greek names as well as different words in our studies for certain common words used are from pagan backgrounds and thus are not suitable. All names will be translated when they are FIRST used in a study or at various times as needed for clarity. There is a full explanation of YHVH’s blessed “Memorial Name” as well as the wonderful blessed Name of our Messiah and Saviour, thus please read …The Memorial Name.”

The Prophetic Feasts of YHVH

With the Ministries Elder & Teacher

The three levels of learning & understanding of the blessed Word of YaHVaH Elohim (the Lord God):

When we read and study the blessed Scriptures, the Word of YHVH Elohim as a believer in Yahushua the Messiah, we should keep the following three steps always in mind for they are a valuable guide and it will certainly provide us with guidance and illuminate the sheer beauty and the fullness of YHVH’s most blessed Word.

1. Who was YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, speaking to?

2. When was it said?

3. How was His Word understood at the time it was spoken/given?

I do believe that these three points are most relevant to our understanding of 1. What the Almighty is saying at the time – 2. As well as what it means to us today - and 3. Especially to you and me right now!

Yom TeRuach - Trumpets - Shofar

1st.of Tishri. Yom TeRuach - Trumpets - 1 day Feast (a Sabbath)

Yom TeRuach,” which means the “Day of the blowing” or the “Feast of the Blowing the Shofar,” also known in Jewish circles as “Rosh Hashanah,” being the “Jewish New Year.” We need to understand that originally the month of Tishri was the first month of the Year. However, YaHVaH Elohim (The LORD God) declared that Nisan, (originally being the seventh month) but now it would be the Spiritual first month of the year. Thus, Tishri had now officially become the seventh month, but it remained the commencement of the civil year.

Let us look at the relevant verse!

“Then YHVH spoke to Moshe - Moses, saying, ‘Speak to the children of Israel, saying’: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath-rest, a memorial of the Blowing (of the Shofa), a Sanctified convocation.’” Vayikra - Leviticus 23:23-24.

We know from the Word that musical instruments are frequently incorporated into some celebrations, but this feast is entirely dependent on one musical instrument. “Yom TeRuach” is the day when the Shofar, being a ram's horn is blown in the Temple and throughout the land of Israel. This feast prophetically speaks of the in-gathering of Israel to Zion, with Zion being the City of Jerusalem and it also refers to the Land of Israel that would have to happen before the glorious return of Yahushua the Messiah and the faithful in Him being “Caught up in the air.” 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

Yom TeRuach” the feast of the blowing of the Shofar is a most unique and very special feast, as this is the only feast of Elohim that occurs on the first day of the month and on the seventh Spiritual month. This is directly related to the importance of the number seven in the Word and the occurrence of the New Moon. The blessed Torah (the Law) in the books of Shemos - Exodus 20:8-10 and Vayikra - Leviticus 25:4 tells us that the seventh day (the Sabbath) and the seventh year were to be Sanctified (holy). With Tishri, being the seventh month it obviously prophetically speaks of special blessings for those who love YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name!

In Scriptural days, the New Moon was always announced by the blowing of the Shofar. These were to be a number of short blasts. However, the New Moon of the seventh month was celebrated by a number of long blasts on the Shofar, thus we have the feast of the sounding of the Shofar. This proves to us that this feast has a special solemnity and that Tishri is unique among all the months. In fact, prophetically, this month speaks of completion of one stage, as well as a new beginning of another.

As we study this feast the question arises “Why is it, that there are always two trumpets in the Word?” This will be explained as we go further into this feast. However, one trumpet prophetically represents the in gathering of Israel and the other is to herald the coming of the King of kings and the Master of masters, when He comes to meet His Bride, being the faithful in Him!

Trumpets in the Word

1 - The Ram’s Horn.

“Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound.” Tehillim - Psalm 89:15.

Tehillim - Psalm 89 above uses the words - “Joyful sound.” However in the Hebrew the word used for “joyful” is “TeRuach” or “blowing,” thus, speaking about knowing that joyful sounding (blowing) of the Shofar, in praise of the Almighty!

References for HaShofar – The Ram’s Horn.

Shemot - Exodus 19:16, & 19, 20:18. Leviticus 25:9 -54. Joshua 6:4-13, 20:1. 1 Samuel 2:1. 1 Chronicles 25:5.

The Shofar would have been taken and formed from various sacrifices, such as the ram and the bullock. The Shofar that were made from ram’s horns and which were used at the fall of the walls of Jericho, they were also used at each Jubilee year!

2 - Trumpets of Silver.

“Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps. When they blow both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tabernacle of meeting” Bamidbar - Numbers 10:2-3.

References for the Silver Trumpets.

Bamidbar - Numbers 10:2, 8, 9, & 29:1. II The Writings - II Chronicles 5:12, 13, & 7:6. Tehillim - Psalm 89:6.

These trumpets were made out of Silver and as most of us will know, silver is the metal and the price of redemption. Silver was used as a ransom or the atonement money. Remember that the Tabernacle pillars were made from Acacia wood and they were covered in gold, but they stood on the dry ground on top of what? “Two sockets of silver” (Shemot - Exodus 26:19).

In addition there were “two silver trumpets” just as there were “two sockets of silver” below the Tabernacle pillars separating the earth, which represented sin, and the perfection of purity, being the Gold. The two silver trumpets clearly indicated that YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, always intended the plan of redemption to be for Israel and the Gentiles alike.

During the first Temple there were one hundred and twenty silver trumpets proving their importance. 1, they were silver and 2, the number was interesting, as there were 3 X 40, being 120 trumpets. As we should know this number reoccurs throughout the blessed Scriptures, for example we will remember the three stages in Moshe’s life!

Priests sounded trumpets made of precious metal, the silver trumpets over the sacrifices as a memorial to YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name.

“You shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings and they shall be a memorial for you before your Elohim. I am YHVH your Elohim.” Numbers 10:10.

The number two in the Word speaks of “testimony,” the “number of witness.” The prophet Joel also speaks of two separate trumpets in chapter 2 verse 1 and verse 15 of his book.

1. “Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My Sanctified mountain”

2. “Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly.”

The first was the call of “alarm” prophetically speaks of Israel’s ingathering to Zion, which partially occurred in 1967 when the Children of Israel reclaimed Jerusalem as its capital. The second blowing is a “call for the sacred or solemn assembly” which is for the faithful in Messiah Yahushua, as we will discover in this study.

Fulfilment of the 5th feast, the “feast of the Blowing of the Trumpets,” prophetically represents the 1“catching away” of the Bride, the faithful in the Messiah.

“For the Master Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of Elohim … we, which are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Master” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

Secular and sadly sinful Israel has been re-established upon the mountains of Israel in 1948, but more importantly to Jerusalem in 1967. The first trumpet has been fulfilled. There is no doubt that the second trumpet of the feast speaks of the 1catching away of the faithful. This event will be fulfilled in the “generation to come” or as it is written in the Hebrew – “Le'Dor Acharon” which literally means “the Last Generation” (Tehillim - Psalm 102:19, Mattityahu - Matthew 24:34).

Sadly, many do not believe that the faithful in Messiah will be “caught up” prior the Tribulation. It is said that this concept was invented by a monk ages ago, and that the doctrine of “the rapture” is false. Well let me say this, the word rapture is indeed erroneous; there is no such word in the Scriptures and it was made up by man! However, the Scripture uses the phrase, “caught up” and there is nothing erroneous about that!

Let me say this, as a Hebrew who did NOT have a New Covenant, how did I come to know about being taken away before there would come a great and terrible Day of our Saviour? It is simply because YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, revealed it to me from the Tanach, being the Old Covenant, right there not only in the Seven Feasts but also in other texts.

Beloved, this Feast must be taken in its context and in its order as given, for each Feast is related to a clear single prophetic event.

The time between this and the next feast!

It is important to understand that eight days separates this feast and the next one, being the “Yom Kippur - Day of Atonement.” This time signifies the time from the catching away of the faithful, the Bride, and the 2nd.Coming. The seven-year Great Tribulation will commence the day after the feast of Trumpets when the Bride has been taken away “to be with the Master” Yahushua! Your question may be at this time, “Why then are there eight days and not seven days between these feasts?” The answer to part one of these questions is this.

1. It is important to realise that eight in Hebrew is the letter “Ches” and in Scriptural numerals it means, “A new beginning” and “life” as we have learned from the letter “Chai” painted on the door, as taught in our Passover study. Thus, these eight days are a time of reflection and of repentance. YaHVaH’s “Two Witnesses” and the 144,000 redeemed Israelites, (Revelation 7:4), will bring millions into a new “beginning” with the gift of “life eternal,” as Yahushua becomes Master of their lives. The days between the two feasts are called by Israel the “The ten days of repentance.” Again, a perfect picture of the Tribulation time, as indeed many of Israel and Gentiles will repent during that terrible time.

2. Part two of the answer is. There are seven days shown between the commencement of the Tribulation, to the day prior the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. The following note will explain this.

Note: Israel includes the feast day of Trumpets, as day one, and the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur as day 10. However, between the two actual feasts there are eight days. But, we should note that the Tribulation will commence the day after Trumpets, as Trumpets is Sabbath day, with the Bride taken away, this means there are now seven days between that day and Yom Kippur, representing one week, or seven-years of the beast.

Will the Faithful in Messiah enter the Tribulation - the 70th Week?

The question is constantly asked, “Why must there be a catching away (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) and why does it have to take place at a certain time?” Also, “Why must the faithful be taken from the earth?”

Beloved, the Catching Away is not only a turning point for the faithful in the Messiah, but also for the world. The world will never be the same again, after the Bride is “caught up!” The Word of Elohim gives many predictions of a coming judgement on the earth, which is full of iniquity. Judgement is not only for the wicked, but also to cleanse the earth from the results of sin and eventually to redeem it and perfect it for the Millennial Reign of our Messiah and His faithful! Thereafter YaHVaH will provide, a “New Heaven and a New Earth … where righteousness will dwell!”

That is a big order and it cannot be accomplished without cleansing. There have been other judgements. The Great Flood of Noah's time changed the whole topography of the earth and established a new climatic pattern, the climatic pattern, which is present to this day. Yahushua clearly gave us signs of these times …

“For in those days (the 70th Week) there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which Elohim created until this time, nor ever shall be” Markus - Mark 13:19.

As indicated in the Tanach, the Old Covenant, the 70th.Week will be known as “the Day of YaHVaH.” The purpose of that day is Judgement of those in error and in sin. The Great Tribulation is divided into two parts. During the first three and a half years, that false peacemaker, the beast, will make a treaty with Israel and delude the world with promises of peace and prosperity; does this not sound a little like the doctrines preached in some of the modern churches today? At the same time the false peacemaker will be introducing the “mark of the beast,” and the cashless society. Sadly, many will accept it without question.

However, the second half of the Tribulation is known as the “Time of Jacob's Trouble.” This time will be used to soften the hardened hearts of the remnant of Israel, in order that they might turn to their Messiah and be prepared for his Kingdom. The Day of YaHVaH will culminate in Yahushua’s Second Coming to the earth.

As already stated, there are many Scriptures, which prove that the faithful in Messiah Yahushua will be “caught up” before the Great Tribulation. Praise Elohim, for His Word is full of promises to those “in Messiah,” which assures the faithful (and remember I did not say the church) that we will be spared from the “Wrath of Elohim” upon the earth.

For Elohim did not appoint us (the faithful in Messiah Yahushua) to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Yahushua the Messiah.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9.

“Much more then, having now been justified by his blood, we shall be saved from Wrath through Him” Romans 5:9.

“YHVH knows how to deliver the faithful from trials and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the Day of Judgement” 2 Shime’on - Peter 2:9.

“You turned to Elohim from idols to serve the living and true Elohim, and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Yahushua who delivers us from the wrath to come” 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10.

Some might reason that these verses refer to the future wrath of Elohim, being the lake of fire. However, if we cannot claim these promises regarding deliverance from all the wrath of Elohim during the “Great Tribulation,” then how can we accept that He will keep us from the lake of fire? Some will argue that the Tribulation is not the wrath of Elohim, but the wrath of evil ones (those who are against Elohim – called HaSatan in His Word) against believers.

We must remember that the “Two Witnesses” will be present to preach the Word of Elohim during the first three and a half years, or 1,260 days to be precise. During that time, these two prophets of Elohim will be based in Jerusalem and they will be called the “tormentors of the world,” as they will perform great signs and wonders, very much like those which were done back in Egypt.

“And I will give power to my Two Witnesses and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth … And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire” Revelation 11: 3 & 5-5.

In the Name of YaHVaH Elohim, these two prophets will have His authority to “shut up the heavens” to the point that the world will be without water by the end of the three and a half years. In addition, they will “turn all water into blood” thus not only will all drinking water dry up but all plant life, produce, and all life in rivers and the oceans will die because of the waters having been polluted. Starvation will be the order of the day. If there is an attempt to harm the Witnesses, “fire” (Elohim's power) will proceed from their mouths that will “devour” and “kill their enemies. They will strike the earth as often need be “with all manner of plagues. I am sure we can name a good number of these plaques, for these will be Exodus type of plaques all over again, for there will be tragic times ahead indeed.

These two chosen men of Elohim will execute Elohim's wrath during the first half of the Tribulation and this will affect the entire earth. Thus, no one could possibly call these events the wrath of an adversary (Satan). Again, the Scriptures clearly speak about the “Day of the wrath of the Lamb” and this clearly proves the point!

“And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” Revelation 6:15-17.

The faithful in Messiah Yahushua are not destined for the wrath of Elohim. Anyone that teaches, that the Bride must enter the Tribulation are saying that the faithful in Messiah Yahushua are destined to suffer the wrath of the Lamb and Elohim. Never! We shall not enter it. We have Elohim's assurance on that!

It is obvious, if the faithful in Yahushua (having the Spirit [temple] living within the faithful) were to enter the 70th.week, why then does Elohim place Two Witnesses in Jerusalem during the first three and a half years? There would be no purpose for them. They are there, because the Bride together with theComforterhas left, and the Witnesses alone are Elohim's messengers on the earth for that time, and they will bring many back to Messiah and sadly it will be those Tribulation Saints that will tragically suffer greatly, including death by the hand of that evil beast and his henchmen during the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, but in turn they will gain everlasting life in the Kingdom of Elohim. Thank you Father!

Thus, those who keep reading the Word and pointing to the tribulation saints remember that the Two Witnesses will bring about a massive revival during their ministry, which will make the beast hunt down the Witnesses and in the middle of the week he will capture and kill them and there will be a worldwide celebration that will be seen on TV and celebrated globally. He will leave their dead bodies lying in the square for the three and a half days, but then YaHVaH Elohim, Praise Him, will raise both men from the dead and again the world will see this happen live on TV, but this time, this will result in the greatest revival in history, for now those that behold this event will know that these men were indeed true men of the Almighty Elohim and that it was He who rose them from the dead!

Thus beloved, the second half of the Tribulation is called the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” for these three and a half years will be far worse than the first half, which will have seemed like a breeze in the park in comparison, except of course for that which was imposed on the earth and on those who came against the Two Witnesses by Elohim through His two servants!

A summary of the First Four Prophetic Events Fulfilled

1… Passover Lamb, prophetically speaks of the “Passover (Lamb) sacrificed for us” to redeem the world from sin and shame. An event prior to the Feast.

2… Unleavened Bread prophetically speaks of Yahushua’s perfect provision, as He was without spot and blemish. Day one of which is generally called “Passover.” This is the seven day feast of “Unleavened Bread,” adding the day of Preparation/Passover sacrifice = 8 that represents Messiah Yahushua’s first presence on earth. Eight also speaks of Him who is our Door of Salvation, our Chai, Life and a New Beginning! A Feast.

3… Firstfruits, prophetically speaks the resurrected Messiah, and the faithful in Him, when He comes. A Feast.

4… The feast of Weeks - 50, speaks of outpouring of the “Ruach HaKodesh – the Sanctified Spirit” upon the body of Messiah Yahushua, and the commencement of the 2,000 year (a double portion) age of grace. A Feast.

5… The Blowing – Shofar / Trumpets, prophetically speaks of the two trumpets, which is partially fulfilled; one trumpet is for Israel and the second trump for those in Messiah Yahushua. The first trump being the trumpet of “alarm,” speaking of Israel’s restoration unto Zion in the “Latter Days.” The second trumpet is the trumpet of “solemn assembly,” speaking of the faithful being caught up. The catching away of the Bride, and removal of the Spirit of YaHVaH, which has resided in the Temple within the faithful, occurs at trumpets. The commencement of the seven-year “Great Tribulation/Time of Jacob’s Trouble” commences at the conclusion of the Feast of Trumpets, and concludes at the next feast, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, which will be covered in the next study. A Feast.

Yom TeRuach is Scripturally the “Feast of the Blowing” - of the Shofar or Trumpets

Yahushua said; “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: They will all be taught by Elohim. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me. No one has seen the Father except the One who is from Elohim; only He has seen the Father. I tell you the truth he who believes has everlasting life.” Yochanan (John) 6:43-48.
