--Sharing our Saviour Yahushua the Messiah to the World!--

-Please Read this FIRST- On this site we prefer to use the actual Name of our loving Heavenly Father as it was written in the Word, and thus you will note that we will use the Four Letter “Memorial Name” of   - YHVH, which is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH. In addition we will also use our Heavenly Father’s attribute/title, which is Elohim rather than “God,” which sadly is the name of a pagan god. In addition we also love to use the actual and real Name of our beloved Messiah which is  - Yahushua or Yahshua in short, for this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him at birth in Lukas - Luke 1:31. This was the only Name ever used when He was on the earth by His family, disciples and His followers OVER THE centuries, even until today! However, it was changed to a foreign name by the founder of the new “pagan church of Rome.” Occasionally, we may also use other Hebrew or Greek names as well as different words in our studies for certain common words used are from pagan backgrounds and thus are not suitable. All names will be translated when they are FIRST used in a study or at various times as needed for clarity. There is a full explanation of YHVH’s blessed “Memorial Name” as well as the wonderful blessed Name of our Messiah and Saviour, thus please read …The Memorial Name.”

The three levels of learning & understanding of the blessed Word of YaHVaH Elohim (the Lord God):

When we read and study the blessed Scriptures, the Word of YHVH Elohim as a believer in Yahushua the Messiah, we should keep the following three steps always in mind for they are a valuable guide and it will certainly provide us with guidance and illuminate the sheer beauty and the fullness of YHVH’s most blessed Word.

1. Who was YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, speaking to?

2. When was it said?

3. How was His Word understood at the time it was spoken/given?

I do believe that these three points are most relevant to our understanding of 1. What the Almighty is saying at the time – 2. As well as what it means to us today - and 3. Especially to you and me right now!

Introduction to the “Chart” below:

On this page I am going to comprehensively cover the actual details of events of that most important week, when our beloved Saviour rode triumphantly into Jerusalem on the first day with great jubilation of the faithful in Him, whilst just four days later on Wednesday, or the Hebrew Day 4, Yahushua was being judged and the sinful of Israel cried out, “Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!” Yochanan - John 19:15.

During this period, three feasts of YaHVaH Elohim took place, each of these having great relevance to the events that took place during this week, for Passover spoke of Yahushua being the “HaSeh Elohim” or “The Lamb of Elohim.” It is vital to know that “Seh” always refers to a sacrificial lamb, for there are other words for “lamb” in the Word that mean a lamb that may well be blemished and this word is generally “kebes” an everyday “lamb.”

Yochanan the Immerser, who was on the other side of River Jordan at Bethany, announced “Look, the Lamb of Elohim, who takes away the sin of the world!” Yochanan - John 1:29.

Of course as was usual at the time, he spoke in Hebrew and not in Aramaic for whenever things related to the Almighty were spoken of, it had to be done in the Scriptural language, just as it is done to this very day in every single Orthodox Synagogue, it is only in the modern breakaway modernised versions that have part Hebrew and English, etc! But Yochanan used the words “HaSeh Elohim” the “Lamb of Elohim.” Thus all present knew very well that he was speaking about a “Sacrificial lamb of Elohim!” It is also interesting that he said – “THE sin.” It is in the singular tense and that is for a reason, for the point is this, break just one commandment of YaHVaH Elohim and you have broken all of His commandments! And that is called “the sin” and worthy of death! Thus, it is through faith, repentance and keeping His commandments as Yahushua has so clearly told us to, that we will be living in His will!

The Feasts:

Pesach - the killing of the Passover Lambs: Yahushua is the provision as the Passover Lamb – Yom HaMazot - Unleavened Bread: Reveals that Yahushua was without spot and blemish, without sin and worthy to be the Passover Lamb! – Reshit Katzir - Firstfruits of the Harvest: Prophetic of Messiah’s resurrection as well as that of the faithful in Him in the latter days!

The Week of our blessed Saviour!

Please Note: Day 1 = Saturday evening & Sunday, whilst the Sabbath is day 7, that commences on Friday evening and continues on Saturday, Sunday = day 1 and so forth. This of course reflects the Hebrew system of days. As you can see, it is also important to note that the Scriptural day always commences from the first star in the evening, thus it starts anytime from 4.30 to 6.30 PM - give or take, pending where you live and the seasons. The Chart - Nisan 11 to 18 in the Week of Our Saviour!

Day 1 - Nisan 11 - Sunday daytime.     Yahushua’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem – Called “Palm Sunday” by many!

Day 2 - Nisan 12 - Sunday eve.

Day 2 - Monday daytime.

Day 3 - Nisan 13 - Monday eve.            After two days is Passover Mattityahu – Matthew 26:1-2 & Markus – Mark 14: 1-2.

The anointing at Bethany - Mattityahu – Matthew 26:6-13.

Day 3 - Tuesday daytime.                         The Apostles go and prepare for a pre Passover meal with Yahushua as they were instructed.

Day 4 - Nisan 14 - Tuesday eve.           Yahushua and the Apostles have their “Seder” on the evening of the “Day of the Preparation” – Judas goes and betrays Messiah, who after the meal with His Apostles goes up on the Mt of Olives to pray and Yahushua is arrested.

Day 4 - Wednesday daytime.                    Yahushua tried and placed on the stake in the morning hours. He “gave His life freely” at the hour that the “Passover Lamb” (3 PM) were killed. He was placed in the tomb just before the High Sabbath commenced.

Day 5 - Nisan 15 - Wednesday eve.      The Seder on the Night of Unleavened Bread - A High Sabbath.

Day 5 - Thursday daytime.                       The High Sabbath day.

Day 6 - Nisan 16 - Thursday eve.         The feast “Reshit Katzir” or “Firstfruits of the Harvest.”

Day 6 - Friday daytime.                           We know from the Word that Yahushua was in the tomb for “Three days and Three Nights” Mattityahu - Matthew 12:40. That is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights!

Sabbath 7 - Nisan 17 - Friday eve.       Eve of the Weekly Sabbath.

Sabbath 7 - Saturday daytime.                  The Sabbath day – at the very same time Yahushua was placed into the tomb and it was closed, YaHVaH Elohim raised Messiah from the dead and He left the tomb seventy-two hours after He was placed into the tomb. This was as our beloved Saviour had so clearly foretold in Mattityahu - Matthew 12:38-40. A study covering this subject is online! Yahushua is the “Firstfruits of them that slept” 1 Corinthians 15:20.

Day 1 - Nisan 18 - Saturday eve.          Messiah has already risen! HalleluYAH.

Day 1 - Sunday daytime.                          As we also know from the Word, very early in the morning Yahushua had already risen as we are clearly told in the Word. Although Miriam, Yahushua’s mother and Miriam Magdalene arrived at the tomb before it was light and they were told by the angels that Messiah had already risen!

I pray beloved that the above makes it so much easier for you to follow what occurred during that big week in the history of the world, for it was indeed a life giving moment, when our beloved Saviour submitted and suffered by the evil hands of men and was beaten and scourged and finally nailed to a stake until He finally gave up His earthly life for us, in order that we might be saved from our sins and have LIFE!

Yahushua said; “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: They will all be taught by Elohim. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me. No one has seen the Father except the One who is from Elohim; only He has seen the Father. I tell you the truth he who believes has everlasting life.” Yochanan (John) 6:43-48.
